I had a huge weight gain around fall of 2016 and by Spring 17 I was almost 300, got down around 225 at one point in 2018 and I've been up and down a few times since never as much as 2016 though, In every big change in my life it was always about how I felt rather than how I looked or in a social sense what other people thought. I was playing football at the time so I could look at myself in the mirror and just see a big guy, the big change happened when I moved out and was buying my own food, even if it wasn't always healthy I still had to consciously make the decision and I wasn't just eating what ever was in the refrigerator or cabinet, I started learning what I actually ate versus what I ate because I saw it. This was a long winded way of saying I went through a huge weight gain and what ultimately changed was how I felt as apposed to how I looked because to this day can rationalize how I look, but can't lie about how I feel.

Louis has done his time for his cancellation. He lost millions of dollars, embarrassed on the world stage, I think we can say he's done his time and let him back in the club.

It's absurd that it even happened. If I were to cancel all women who had some sort of power over me and I felt like I sort of had to do sexual stuff to them, unemployment numbers would be through the roof.

@@ramudon2428 Well, it was totally not ok what he did. Even asking permission doesn't make it ok when you're talking to someone that works for you. Although, the comedy world isn't anything like an office job. These comedians/writers will often go out to clubs and bars to scout talent and work on material so drinking and drugs are common "on the job" so asking to masturbate in front of one of your female employees probably doesn't seem as bad in the moment.

@@zengamer21 Maybe it wasn't okay. I just don't know. It doesn't seem like cancelling people is the way to go with these things, even if we say it wasn't okay. It would be interesting to explore what makes it not okay in the first place, and see where the offramps actually are, instead of defaulting to just sorting through the car after it crashes and punishing one of the people in the car, like that will solve anything going forward.

Like if Louis had accidentally killed someone with his car and went to jail for manslaughter for like 5 years he would be welcomed back immediately when he got out of jail. People would say that he did his time and he deserves to come back. But since he never went to jail then there was no legal punishment then every person has to decide when he's "had enough". For some, it's never enough. They want him banished forever which is ridiculous but that's mob justice for you. Also, when your boss is asking for sexual favors you don't really have a choice. Your job, career, and future are on the line. It's just absolutely inappropriate.

@@zengamer21 You're misunderstanding me, but that's because I'm not being very clear. That's on me. I'm saying "why is it bad", and the answers may be "might lose job". So either we fix so the job isn't lost by having workers rights that just fix that, or we make it so losing your job isn't a big deal. Not saying these are good paths to walk down or that they dont present challenges, etc, but as a way of working through the problem maybe some other offramp exists. For instance if my boss wanted me to tickle his pickle, I'd just laugh, report that, and be fine economically, and have no issues going forward. But then again I'm a guy and I'm in Norway, it's a world of difference from being a woman in the states in the weird unstructured "workplace" of comedy. So looking at why those two things are so different might be interesting. I don't know, I'm just thinking "out loud" right now. The word inappropriate is also weird cause a lot of perfectly fine things are inappropriate, that just makes me think of what's socially acceptable and not, not what's morally "right or wrong". But that's just semantics I suppose.

Now, I'm a guy who is 200 pounds and has squatted 400+, but even I wouldn't attempt it without warm-up and stretching... but how do you warm up or stretch when the LEAST you have to lift to move around is 400 already?!
