Kiera, I have been watching your videos for a few years now and I used to work at The Monkey Sanctuary. I was in tears watching this at being able to see all of the familiar (monkey) faces! Thank you so, so much for including the sanctuary in your video and raising awareness. The sanctuary do incredible work and you are right, it is an amazing, inspiring place to work. I hope you got a chance to try some of the delicious food at the vegan cafe! Thank you again, this really made my day! :)

I love when my rats chew a hole in their hanging enclosed hammock and then stick their heads out of the whole when I talk to them! Louis is still so cute! I hate leaving my ratties when I go on vacations too but they are always super happy to see me and they know I miss them. Last time I boarded my rats with my friend's shop they were mad at me when I left them because I gave them a bath but as soon as I came back they couldn't stop licking me. Nox licked a raw spot on my knuckle that's how much she missed me. Love you videos, especially your rat ones, and I'm glad you and Alex had a good vacation!

I saw Joey's old cage and burst into tears, it's unbelievably small, how can anyone think it could be okay?? No one can be that stupid can they? My guinea pigs had a cage about that size, laid horizontally, and I always wanted bigger for them. To think of a primate in there for almost a decade breaks my heart :(

Back in 1998 I spent 2 weeks volunteering at the Monkey Sanctuary when I had dreams of working in ecology and it is a wonderful place. It looks to have expanded tremendously since I spent my time there. It's sickening to think that primates are still being kept in tiny cages here in the UK, it really breaks my heart. I'm going to the website now to sign the petition and become an ambassador for them also. Thanks for highlighting this cause Keira x

I stayed in Looe in August last year - got a Seagull teddy from a shop near the main car park, as well as a pastie cushion I used as a pillow to sleep on in the car when car sickness came for me, RIP

I used to volunteer at a wildlife reserve near where I grew up and we saw a lot of cases like those monkeys (though with many many different types of animals. Seems more often we'd get pigs, tigers, many meat eating birds, a really alarming amount of equine types, etc.) that is such a lovely sanctuary though! (I teared up. I'll admit it.) That looked like a very fun holiday. ♥
