aww!! I'm glad my footage gave you all the dinosaur feels!! I had a tiny amount of battery left and worried I wouldn't be able to get good clips. It turned out for the best though, lack of camera battery made me watch most of it through my actual eye balls haha

re: not being in a pub having so many options. try the Ship Inn on the Ouseburn in Newcastle. The whole menu is vegan and all the booze is vegan too!!

We always go to the Burger Garden when visiting my partners family in Sheffield! Especially going up this weekend all the way from Norwich, just to go to the Burger Garden before it shuts! So tasty!! Will definitely check out the other places you ate at too xx

Yeahhhh that hoi sin wrap is so drippy! If you ever try their sandwich line again I would highly recommend the spicy mexican bean wrap with mushrooms. It's my go to lunch if I haven't prepared something to take to work since they stock the full range in the nearest Tesco

Absolutely love Sheffield! I’m so glad that you were able to visit my favourite spots. The ribs look amazing :O temple of fun is absolutely amazing I went there and my boyfriend played on the Jurassic Park pinball machine the entire time. It was worth the travel and will definitely be there again soon :)

I think it varies a lot place to place as far as restaurants go. Do you not have many supermarkets with vegan snacks? I always imagined the US would have more options for some reason xx

I feel like every supermarket has the "basics" like tofu and some tofurky items, but I wish we had more options like on the go sandwiches! Something that would be really easy to grab and go. Bigger cities might have more options at their supermarkets, but in most places vegan snax are harder to find unfortunately

Vegan staples (mayo, various kinds of tofu outside of one brand, vegan coffee creamers and ice cream) are becoming more readily available outside of specialty shops. But when it comes to snack foods themselves, especially ones involving chocolate, they usually have to be ordered specially through places like vitacost, iherb, etc. Or you can buy them for the price of your firstborn at specialty shops (whole foods, etc.). Places like Trader Joe’s now have a lot more vegan snack options, but generally those are only located in large cities. So basically, unless you live in or near a large city, you’re stuck with Oreos, one or two ice cream flavor options, olives, and crackers and hummus and such. America carries all sorts of amazing vegan snacks...they just generally aren’t sold in most stores and are difficult to obtain unless you order online. It’s frustrating.

Kiera next time you come to Sheffield you’ve gotta go to The Harley they have the yummiest burgers and Oreo brownies are to die for! It’s in a really nice chilled bar which is also a hotel I’d recommend you come stay and have breakfast dinner and tea 😅😋
