@@javi7824 Even though the melody doesn't sound like it, the lyrics are pretty sad and they are breaking my heart everytime. It's about life in the music industry. The first thing me mum said when she heard just the title of the song (without knowing anything about Louis and his past) was "Shitty quality", because the more you copy the original, the shittier the quality gets. First the original is great, the copy first is good as well, the next copy is still good, but not as good and this goes on and on and on. So the copy of a copy of a copy is very far from the original, meaning what is shown to us isn't what the reality is like. Public Louis isn't original Louis, because he's been copied way too often. The other lyrics show how hard management, record labels etc can be as well and that he doesn't have the control over his life. Also the lyrics of the chorus are basically like a letter to his younger self saying he should stop crying, because nothing of this is true to who he really is and that it'll stay that way.

I feel like this song is even sadder. Even though it still is a really really sad song, here is still hope in Two Of Us, but this song is about hopelessness :'(

I feel that he says this for himself, but also for those who have gone or will go through what he went through, and still goes through in the music industry! He knows he wasn't the first, nor will he be the last, unfortunately! It's a message of strength both to himself and to the people who are suffering and thinking they can't make it! Every time I hear this song, I feel like hugging Louis and telling him that everything is ok, that I'm with him! We have an idea of what he went through, but the truth is that we don't know even 10% of everything! 💚💙💚💙💚💙

I think the MAIN thing that attracts me to Louis’ music is his voice tone n how he sings the words. I don’t think this music other than HIS is the style I would of listened to back then usually. But he changed my whole style / taste n I think I was wrong about my taste the whole time. His music n voice is heavenly n makes me love rock / pop music more than I imagined (I don’t listen to anyone else who sings that style other than Louis but I think I’d love to listen to more people in that music genre now)

I can't make up my mid if this is about the initial dream of fame and not realizing it isn't what you thought or just generally about getting your heart broken, it seems like it is deeper than that though ...
@lalynathalie11613 жыл бұрын
Really? We'll have to wait until he talks about it to know what it really means-
@madaitercero84013 жыл бұрын
I think it is talking about heart break in a general way... There are a lot of ways to get your heart broken: over someone you loved, something you loved, someone that loved you, something you did that you loved, etc. I think it's, like a lot of his songs, talking about heart break in a general way so a lot of people can relate to it, without losing that part of himself that he wants to share with us. It could be about the dream of fame, cause that would mean that he got his heart broken by it at some point, but it would still be about heartbreak. It's about the different ways you can get heart broken, and still, you aren't the only one getting heartbroken by that single situation, no matter how distinctive it may seem... No matter how much it hurts, there always will be someone that feels or felt the same way you do, and at that moment of deep hurt, the only thing consoling you is that someone else out there has already gone through that pain, and made it through it, so if that person can so can you... In a way I relate this song a lot to Just Like You, because it shows you that, no matter how different we are or how different the circumstances we live in are, we can all feel hurt or get hurt by the same things.

@@anna_banana414 Louis is obsessed with the number 28, he has the number tattooed on his hand, and it was the number on the back of his football top, and anytime a number is involved it’s always 28. For instance recently he had 28% off of his Merch that ended on the 28th, for his live concert you could rewatch it for 28 hours, I’m pretty sure in Walls there were 28 dancers. It’s believed the number holds significance to him as a date him and Harry were rumoured of be married or something similar (ie 28th September 2013), I think we’ve been told it’s his grandparents house number (but that was disproven) or because it’s his football number but with how obsessed he is with the number it seems unlikely but tbh none us really know the true meaning, we just know he uses that number for everything 😂

This song weirdly made me cry, i take the lyrics as like being about the lgbtq community and being closeted. 'the first blow hits you cold' could be the end of a relationship but could also be about homophobia or any sort of hate for the first time. Then obviously you have 'been this way forever' which could be like, ive been this way (lgbt) for ever and it's not gonna change. and 'You're not the only one, in a strange way, all in this together' like we are all in this community together and we all go through these struggles together, you aren't the only on feeling like this, you arent the only one getting hate for being you. That's how i relate to this song anyway.

I saw few comments talking about this song is about management just make the same artist (ie copy). For me, it feel like the chorus is for his younger self. “Young man, hush your tears..” and things have been so hard with the struggle and the losses he had. Its easier to be like “Why me?” But Its a “comfort” to know that pain and loses arent anything new. People has lost family, siblings, parents as well. Hes not the only one whos in pain as pain has always been part of life. Broken hearts has been there in the past, present and future. Its a copy of a copy of a copy.
