I wish this song got more recognition, it must have taken a lot of bravery for Lou to put this song out there into the world knowing that it contains things that expose the music industry, and knowing that it shows a lot more about him, how he's trapped, can't do what he wants, and it gives us more insight into his life. I wish people saw this video and recognized it for what it is, a call for help. He's trying to tell us that he's trapped by the music industry but nobody is listening, nobody is understanding him and nobody is coming to rescue him or expose the music industry for what they have done and that just breaks my heart that nobody is helping him. The press doesn't care, Simon clearly doesn't care, his management doesn't care, and the only people that care are his fans (at least some of us, there are still a lot of "fans" who don't care about him the way the rest of us do") and unfortunately there isn't much we can do. I just wish we could do more to help him, it breaks my heart to see him suffer so much after all he's been through. Stay strong Lou, we are all here for you.

Beautifully put message. I think it's really supportive for fans to say that. I've only recently found One Direction (I can't believe I hadn't heard of the band at all before last month.) I realise this was a year ago but I had to add that Rebecca Ferguson has spoke out about what management did to her in X-factor "she was petrified" "treated her like a rag doll" she talks about "sexual assualt" in her own hotel room and mangement turning a blind eye. She adds they pinned other "young boys" up against a wall when they questioned management and added these "17 year old boys, confussed about their sexulaity, were being groomed".😞 Jonathon Knight talking about SONY management in a recent podcast with Lance Bass "'He pulled me aside and was like, “If anybody finds out your gay, your career is over. The New Kids' career is over. My career's over. Sony's going to, lose money a lot of money”. I have immense amount of respect for these brave individuals that are speaking out about the darkside of this industry. Paving the way for others to come forward and feel supported.🤞 It must not be easy that's for sure. I remember what they did to George Michael after the court case was over.. His public image was trashed "lude acts in a public toilet" I pray that with what is coming out atm more people will see through the lies but for every truth that comes out the media balances it with some fabrication. The power they hold is discusting! Like you said we just need to keep supporting them and speak out on their behalf, knowing that the boys can't! It won't be an easy path by the looks of it but I have Faith in the future!

Why do I feel like these lyrics are directed at us, the fans? Like: "You only get half of the story" - We only get what the media tells us, pap pics etc. "The cash and the cars and the glory" - We are made to believe that this is what every celebrity is expected to say/do/have. "I'm just like you" - Louis is just like us. He is still a normal person with a normal life who does normal everyday things that we do. He probably does not ALWAYS want to be treated like some sort of king or leader (even though he is) because he is normal. "Even though my problems look nothing like yours do" - This here. Even if his problems are stuff like planning a concert, or paying for this and that, flying to these places etc. while our problems are things like studying for tests, doing chores, going to school/work etc. at the end of the day we all have to eat dinner, spend time with our families, shower and go to bed.
