He said that he didn't speak to Harry because he didn't want anyone to know about his history with the band and didn't want to be associated with the record. Nonetheless, he loves and adores the boys even now. He has been supportive of everyone and everyone supported him too. We should stop blaming Zayn or the other boys. They are in a happy place now. That's all that matters. ☺

@@mysticalmaniac2 The management did not allow the boys to do the things they liked even if they were superstars, believe me. The boys weren't allowed to dye their hair, have tattoos, to fit into the "boyband" stereotype. The management wasn't very happy when Zayn dyed a streak of his hair blonde during the TMH era. (He did it without informing them). They had the pressure of putting up a no. 1 album every year. Just think, it's not easy to release 5 albums in 5 years without taking a break like many other bands usually do. They were stressed, drained and tired after all of those years. And coming to your point, that Zayn left the band because he didn't like the music and wanted to make his own, let me tell you that he actually made a song called "One Chance To Dance" with "Naughty Boy" when he was in 1D. They hoped it would be there for the FOUR Album. But later it came to light that the management actually rejected all of Zayn's songs and not even one of the songs appeared on the tracklist of FOUR. Not many people know about this. He then had an eating disorder which lasted for about a year. He had anxiety and several other issues. In the midst of this mess, he left 1D. But he still showed his love and support to the boys and thanked them. 💛💛

I honestly feel they had horrible management we saw their bond in x factor and how much they had after the first year of touring I feel like I could tell they were tired and needed a break; they teach u these things in business school the boys had so much power after making it big they had they did discussed could have altered schedules dates and just expressed what they were feeling they had skyrocketed so big any management would have gave in but they were far too young and naive and just went along they had more power and control had they had more unity and came together to find a solution early on no management in the world could have refused if they used their star power correctly

The management was just making money off them by back to back interviews shows constant touring 1D had become so big they really should renegotiated their contracts schedules and all breaks that's the thing they were far too young to know this stuff now when they are solo hardly their schedule is as hectic most are just doing it at their pace some who want heavier are touring they really should have discussed what was bothering them with each other and found a solution seems like they sort of shied away from showing what they perceived was weakness Zayn even said he didn't share with members anxiety issue and eating disorder it's like they hardly talked about the important or deep stuff

Yes because it's only validated when a white man says its real. When zayn said it years ago no one believed him because he is brown man aka the villan. At that time Liam denied everything said he had no idea what zayn was saying 🤔 Interesting no? When Liam said everything was fine and zayn was lying everyone believed him and nor zayn. No empathy or understanding only vitriol for Zayn. Years later whrn Liam said exact things Zayn was saying...people felt empathy, felt sorry, opened their hearts out to him. BUT most importantly they believed him. They gave Liam more grace and understanding than they ever did Zayn.

Louis- I don't think I'm mature enough [in interview about talking again to zayn] Zayn- liked Louis child post [In interview Zayn said he was not in speaking terns with Louis and wouldn't be welcome]. Louis had a child years years years ago and did not let go of bitterness... Zayn recently a father but he was willing to wish Louis well on child...this was before zayn became a father. I know who has the grudge. Louis not understanding the trauma of zayn having to see people from 1D etc at x-factor and his mothers funeral but still holding a grudge. Zayn wrote a post that commemorated not only Louis mother but Louis strength and the bond between Louis mother and Louis. Suee some people would say a post doesn't compare to going to the funeral. But zayn is a private person. He made that post public. Taking into account Zayn mental health at the time and dealing with global hate from 1D fans and music industry, and racism...people in that situation isolate and cocoon themselves, hermit away for well-being and emotional safety. In that light the post by zayn was a big deal I think it's just a emotional manipulation to make zayn feel guilty for his anxiety depression, mental health. I csn understand Louis being angry at the time because he really wanted zayn to be there but to hold on to grudge after without trying to reflect on trauma and pain of others, think abd try to understand of something/ someone outside of himself. To hold the grudge even after becoming a father.

Sometimes i wish our fandom was more supportive about him leaving the band. He just wasn't happy. Like everyone else he also has only one life and needs to spend it the way he wants. He was there for us for 5 years even though he wasn't happy. Now we need to be there for him. what hits so hard is when i listen and feel how he says "i'd rather be anywhere but here" and "i pray to God i didn't waste all my good years" these lyrics still have my chest in pain and that 'heavy feeling' even though i had listened to this a million times, knowing this great song have always a special place in Zayn's heart and the true zqauds. All Z wanted was to be joyful and to share what he's been through his 1D days. He's hurt, his feelings, his heart have been shared to all of his songs. Zayn even said that Louis is the one thing he can't live without. So basically they were the "it" best friends. But in 2015 when zayn left, there was a misunderstanding, and zayn and louis ended up having an ugly fight on twitter. And till now they are not on talking terms, and practically strangers. They used to get high together and there's videos of them smoking weed together...they used to be the closest but now they are strangers.

At this point I just want the boys to be friends again. Zayn helped create something incredible, but he moved on and I feel like it was just such a huge shock at the time. They were so used to being together that none of them knew how to handle the situation after he left and kept it inside for so long. It breaks my heart when I watch This Is Us and Zayn asks if they'll still be mates after the band eventually splits apart and all of them say for sure. One Direction wasn't just about the music, it was about 5 best friends having fun, touring the world together and being absolute idiots along the way. I hope that one day they can be those boys again, even if they aren't in a band.

Poor Zayn...he received so much hate for being real and true to himself. Imagine a bird being locked up in a cage, unable to fly freely like it should be. I envisioned Zayn as the bird, being deprived of what he truly likes, unable to share and contribute the things he truly felt passionate about (like his musical ideas that has been rejected while he was in 1d etc). Can't even imagine how much pent-up emotions he needed to keep for himself until he finally exploded. But on a good note, he's finally free now.
