Yep!!! its funny because Cheryl, as far as competitive ranking went, was never as high up as some of the others like Karina and Val etc.....but there is something so real about her dancing that gives me chills. I think dance has become so over processed and lost its heart nowadays!

COVID not withstanding, I miss DWTS the way it used to be, all the great pros, all the glitz and glamour, the visiting stars, the opening pro dance numbers. I still love and watch the show, as I’ve done since the very first show on the very first season, but it’s just not the same. Understandably not the current season for obvious reasons but hopefully things will get better.

I am missing the point where this music and dance is related to Samba. In my opinion, nothing in this presentation is. Copacabana in the song is not talking about a place in Brazil and the dance style and chroreography has absolutely nothing related to original samba dance. I love the music and dancers, but I can't get the connection they try to make. Anyone any ideas?

@shsblsd Oddly enough, I'm not sure I'd believe Maks as saying it. Louis, yes. He seems like he can be catty and critical. And Maks is no angel, to be sure! But Maks and Cheryl are really good friends...I don't see him saying that about her and them remaining as buddy-buddy as they are. She NEVER dances with Louis anymore, though...which is makes sense...if he dogged her like that, no wonder she won't partner with him! And you never see them out and about together like she and Maks. I dunno...
