Want a shocker? I know her personal physician and the medical examine who did her autopsy. I have seen her medical records and I can honestly say, both from my opinion and from the two of them as well, I've never known another human being to consume so much drugs and Alcohol and not die from it. She consumed more drugs in a single day than most addicts do in a year. Here's the thing, she would have never made it past 30 if she didn't. The amount of physical pain she must of experienced every moment of everyday is astounding. How she didn't die of shock is beyond me. I wish people would be more honest about things like this. More people might be around today if they didn't feel the need to hide and are ashamed by what is required for them to function.

Elizabeth shined, but Johnny Carson models such skill & talent in how to do great interviews of interesting people, clever showmanship, great humor, quick wit, pivot-ability, and still be able to hit hard stuff with respect. He had humility and could, often did, laugh at himself. Thank you for posting this!

This was a pleasant entertaining interview. They both did well interacting with each other. When she first started talking to Carson, the tone of her voice was higher pitched, then it went down to its normal tone. It may have been due to nervousness at first, then she was able to relax and be herself. She comes across with a good sense of humor, and has the ability to laugh at herself. Not only does she look great here at 60, but she also had a beautiful smile. Alot of other celebrities on Carson would talk over him, but Taylor actually listened to what he said. Elizabeth Taylor was a wonderful woman. A class act.

A high school friend of mine was Elizabeth's stylist and personal assistant for ten years (she attended Liz's wedding to Larry, made halloween costumes (clowns) for them both one year, and traveled the world with her and Jose Eber. She said Elizabeth was one of the kindest, most generous people she ever had the privilege to know. She gave wonderful parties and lunches on her patio at her home in Califirnia. She liked giving people cats, and gave her a beautiful tortoishell cat as a birthday gift. I recently found a photograph of James Dean with a cat purportedly given to him by Liz after the filming of Giant. I messaged Jorjett and she confirmed Liz did in fact gift James with a kitten. Liz's daughter lives in Oregon and still runs her Aids Foundation.

Elizabeth and Johnny were present for the majority of my life. When you are a kid, you don't ever think of the posibility of them not being here one day. When they die, it is a shock! You take it personally. It's as if they were personal friends. It hurts and it is a very emotional experience! I cried over both of their passings. I truly miss them both. I know it was only their bodies that died. They are on the otherside of the veil enjoying a beautiful life, THE REAL LIFE. I sometimes envy all those who are home in the spirit.
