Poms gaining for most of the first leg, couldn't help wondering if the kiwi boat had picked up some weed. Usually the main gain to the Kiwis seems to be that they lose a lot less distance in their tacks, but in leg one, that didn't seem to help them

Ben and the team could not have been more polite after defeating LR and knowing him personally from the Isle of Wight, I can only say that he’s the most civilised, modest and well-balanced four times Olympic Champion that you could imagine. Yes, he races hard but no he is not arrogant or indeed immodest. If you want arrogance then look at the All Blacks rugby team who insist on subjecting every opponent to their tribal dance before every match. Expecting every opponent to stand and wait for this is the epitome of arrogance.
