It appears to me that after a couple people posted that LV belts hadn't been made in France since the 1980's, people just assumed it was true and ran with it, but it's not (or rather, not completely). Yes, the newer belts are made In Spain, but there are definitely LV belts from the past several years that were made in France and that have the "Made In France" stamping. I can't speak for Damier Graphite belts, but I know that's the case with Inventeur Reversible ones.

I want to believe that the "real" belt is actually real but I can't because of the box... I bought a real LV from the store once I was able to afford it. I had bought many "real" belts from the street and one thing I did notice was 1)the real belt is thinner than the "real" belts unlike the one you got there.. 2) the real belts come with a tag that says "Genuine Calf Leather" 3) the color on the pull out box should be like a brownish color.. not white... the real color of the pull out box is the only thing that fake belt got right.. the fact that the color of your pull out box is white is a dead give away it's fake... and for those saying that ppl who wear designers are "Shallow"... don't judge everyone for what they wear.. The fake pull out box is a dead giveaway that it is fake; it's just way too yellow! You have to consider the lighting too. The real one could very well be real, but might appear fake due to the lighting. I have an LV belt and I know the box shouldn't be that yellow or that white; it's supposed to be kind of in the middle.
