I bought this bag when you first revealed it and haven’t looked back. It’s so functional with the strap and black leather combo. It’s an everyday work horse and the carries all the essentials and a bit more. For some reason even though the Odeon has the outside pocket, it never really appealed to me like this bag did.

Hi Cindy. Glad you selected the Boulogne bag to celebrate your resignation. It's a great bag and I have it in the same colour combo. I really am enjoying using the bag, the shape of which reminds me of the Odeon sliced in half!! Thanks for sharing the interesting story of the bag and I'd be keen to see what the earlier version looked like. I agree with you that the strap has been smartly constructed with 3 adjustable settings and no ends flapping. That looks so ugly and annoying too as the ends then start to curl up 😕. Initially, the black interior bothered me too but I've got use to it, especially as I have everything in SLGs so it's a bit easier to find. I toyed with the idea of putting in a light colored organiser but refrained from doing so as I don't want to sacrifice any precious bag space. This is such a versatile bag and easily goes from an office to a lunch bag and even to a casual dinner one at a pinch. The price point is not too bad, all things considered. The one con or concern that I have is that as the bag has no feet, the black leather piping running along the base of the bag might start to see some wear and tear. I agree with you both 100%. Everything you mentioned I’m sitting here shaking my head YES! Same! What is with the oddly placed D ring? I thought it was for a coin purse or key fob and nope! It hits right at my shoulder. So I’m to wear my keys on my shoulder? Maybe I can find a parrot charm and act like a Hollywood pirate. 🙄 The black interior drives me nuts. Luckily it’s not too big of a bag so I can feel around, but I’d prefer a brighter interior so I can see! I’m so glad the leather isn’t wrapped around too. My first LV was a Boetie MM. I adore the satchel hobo-ish style bag, but I didn’t know. I didn’t know the gorgeous vachetta wrapped around the entire bottom sides would be such a horror to protect. I have got to send it in to have the vachetta replaced now that I know better. It’s patina is so pretty, but one side got something on it that looks like it ate away at it in one little spot. Maybe winter salt or something?? Who knows. I just love the new Boulogne. It’s the first bag that I saw and didn’t have to think on, I hit buy immediately and had every bit of confidence I’d be using it habitually. I’m still telling my husband randomly how happy I am with it after two months. I think it’s been about two months now…

I'm so glad you're still loving the bag. I too saw it in the store and snapped it up. I had this bag and I returned it. It felt very flimsy to me. I wish LV would bring back the sturdier canvas. The opening is very tight and the zipper wasn't a smooth zip and close because of the crescent shape. I love the way it looks and I love the strap but for the price point I couldn't shake the cons (IMO) of the bag.

The family of my husband have a factory so they make all bags and belts and one things that most of people doesn’t know is that real leather never ever broke. Can change the colour but not broke. Most of the shops are selling products and in the stamp say real leather when isn’t not also the imitation of leather can smell like leather they put some type of products to looks more realistic.

Yes! I took mine off of my Boulogne one day and added my Crafty Néonoé carry handle, but was too lazy to run back upstairs to properly store the chain before I left the house so I thought I’d try it around my neck. It fits and hung like a short necklace! Not quite a choker on my neck so for me it was perfect. It’s the perfect gauge for a classy chain necklace IMO.

Hello beautiful. I just purchased this bag yesterday. I have a question that maybe you have the answer too.. I noticed that the gold hardware has a little bit of scratching. Is that normal? The gold chain that dangles has a plastic covering but like the zippers and other parts have slight scratching.

The strap is similar to the NeoNoe, and that is my FAVOURITE thing about the NeoNoe! I bought bright yellow organisers for my NeoNoe just so I could find things, the black interior is NOT helpful! 😆 Thanks for this Cindy, this bag is a viable replacement option for my NeoNoe 🌟 Agree on the external slip pocket though, they should be on every bag! 🙌🏼

The canvas on this bag felt thin and cheap (in my opinion). It was disappointing when it arrived. The strap is heavier than the entire bag... 🥴 I sent it back for this reason. At this price point I need to LOVE the bag and with the martial and zipper and opening, I didn't love it. I do love the 'LOOK' of the bag and I love the strap!
