Be very careful with the ‘cabin size’ thing. While both the 45 and the 55 can be taken in a aircraft there’s a very big difference in how they are accepted. The 55 is considered a carry on luggage. While the 45 is considered personal item. What is the difference? Well personal item is like a hand bag. You have the right to have both a personal item and a carry on in the aircraft with you. That means if you own a 45 you can bring that + a luggage. If you have a 55 that is already a luggage. If you have both you can bring both I guess :D but good luck carrying both of them around. Too heavy.

Have you had any issues with the bag, and have you had any issues returning their products if you've had to or changed your mind? Any ideas on the bottom poece to keep the bag from becoming floppy and undesirable looking over time?

I ll go for the 45 because I want to use it as a bag for laptop and personal items not and not as a carry on luggage. it can get very heavy and uncomfortable even for a weekend trip

Thanks for this! I bought the 55 recently and it’s huge, but I love it. I was looking at the 45 but I thought that it would be too small for travelling with. I’m 5”8, so the bag looks a little big when on my shoulder, but not too big that it looks silly. It’s a great bag, looking forward to using it next week for the first time.

@@shanew7361never done a return to LV, so can’t comment on that, but that bag has been good. I travel a lot for work, and a lot of the travelling is only for 1-2 days, so the 55 is a nice size for shorter trips. There’s been a bit of fraying on the bottom of the bag, but I’d imagine it’s because I’m extensively using it. It’s decent quality, and a nice piece. Gets lots of looks at the airport and train station. Also a really good size for a weekend bag. I have a 2 seater sports car so very limited space, and the bag is great for weekends away. Can usually fit one pair of shoes, a couple of pairs of trousers, maybe 2 jumpers, a couple of tees and then underwear/accessories. Should be noted that it can be a bit of a tight fit and the hand straps aren’t very comfortable to carry when it’s full, so it’s usually around my shoulder. The 45 would’ve been way too small for me. I’ve grown a bit since commenting, and it’s still quite big, but doesn’t look massive when on my shoulder. Overall, really happy with it. Would defo recommend.

Bought the 55 I felt the $100 difference was worth it I’ve used it to take all my clothes for travel instead of using a checked in bag

I prefer the 45, I travel with my josh backpack a 45 and a carry on unless it’s only for a couple of days. 45 is just easy to maneuver for me.

Are all eclipse monogram material the same? I have a eclipse steamer backpack and and an eclipse messenger but the there’s a matte difference. I see both of these bags also have different color/material is that normal? Thank you .

Im not the only one. Yeah it’s normal, I got the Keepall Eclipse 55 from 2016 and the Christopher Eclipse Reverse from 2020, both manufactured in France, and there’s a huge difference to me, material and color as well. The color on the backpack is more like a black/blue than the Keepall which is really dark, more sober and classy. The quality on the backpack looks way cheaper than on the Keepall 55, it looks like the 45 in this video. I thought at first it was because of the production year, but if the 2 Keepall in this video are from the same production year, it’s just that they use different materials.
