That was my first LV bag, in regular canvas monogram, and still my favourite bag to this day... fits all I need, great size and so comfy to wear! Plus, the construction of the bag in regular canvas is a lot better, and the strap is placed on sides instead... no annoying zippers either! Totally recommend.

I use a headrest hook for my small bags, like other people have mentioned. For larger bags, I set them on the seat, but attach them to the headrest. I use the strap from one of my other bags, which has clips on both sides - with the strap passed behind the headrest, I clip the two clips together through my bag handles.

The Montaigne MM in monogram was my first lv bag and I loved it too! Very easy bag to use and had lots of room ! Love your videos and your bags!

Found a great hack for the handles, if you keep the strap on the square rings (as you would when the handles are folded in), then it stays up a little better -similar to the lady dior

I can totally relate to the bag spilling out all over the passenger seat! Soooo annoying!! Some great youtubers told me about handbag hooks that fasten to the headrest and hold your bag in place! You can try that. 😀

Great review! I can’t wait to see your Paris trip footage and what you score! I would especially love to hear about colors at Hermès. Also, you should check out Moynat while you are there. Their bags appear to be highly crafted like the Hermès items. I’m hoping for a Paris trip next year or maybe a London trip before brexit happens.

I have this bag in the bigger size. Think it’s the MM. I love it. I feel it’s a smart every day bag due to the size. I don’t mind it being open as it’s too big as a crossbody bag so I always just wear it on crook of arm. I do find the zip annoying too plus if you put a few things in the zip compartment and actually zip it up it does distort the shape of the bag. So I tend to just leave it open. I also would prefer the handles to be static as I never use the shoulder strap and find the belt annoying for access into bag. Overall love it though.

I have the same bag but the MM size. My middle pocket has very smooth zippers? So that's an interesting difference. Don't you love this bag though? I love it so, so much!

Great video. Love the Montaigne! I own the LV Vaneau MM in black epi leather. It's similar to the Montaigne, I think you would like it. Nobody has done a review on you tube meanwhile it's a great bag! Looking forward to more videos!

I had same concern about a small Prada tote. Similar shape and I was worried that things may spill out when o wore it crossbody.. Loved the bag but ended up selling it.

I have this bag in the MM size which comes with only a shoulder strap. I have not had any problems with the zipper. I have the same problem with the bag tipping over and my items spilling out. I may sell due to this problem.

Very interesting and funny video, as usual ;) Regarding you bag falling when you break too hard, you could put the shoulder strap around the passenger seat so that when you break it won't fall. I've also seen some hooks you can attach on the passenger seat to secure your handbag. Take care and a big kiss from France ❤️

Hmm. Not sure if you find this helpful but sometimes I tie (or just throw)a silk scarf on top of my bags that are open on top in order to protect it.

Get a clipa for your car sit. I use one all the time. It prevents my bags to end up on the floor when i break.

I bought same color and size as yours. I had same problem with the zipper not smooth to open I bring it back to the store they took my bag to a repair guy about 5 minuets. Now it work perfectly.

Rub wax paper along the zipper, should sort the problem.

May help w candle wax: Apply candle wax to smooth out the zipper. Run it over few times on both sides, ( careful to a catch the wax residue) and try to zip back and forth.
