Thanks for the review. I had the bag for a while and in fact my SA told me the reason for the change in straps is due to the canvas strap being less comfortable on the shoulders for some people so they change it to leather instead. Maybe it’s just me but the reason I got it is because I am a great fan of reverse monogram bags and I truly adore the look of this bag which is very stunning in my opinion. I hope u enjoy ur bag too!

I had been eyeing this bag recently , however I would have to go for the GM size for myself , I decided not to add it , I am looking for a great tote and I have tried the NEVERFULL in the GM and MM sizes and I wanted to love that bag but I just don’t , my fear is I will feel the same about this on the go tote , so I just decided to wait for my perfect tote . If I have to enhance a bag at that price tag I would just not be happy with it , but I’m glad you are enjoying it ! Happy Mother’s Day thanks so much for sharing 🥰🥰

Luxurynewbie yes if you already had a strap that works better I totally get that , I wish they would have made the length of the straps on the MM size the same as the length on the GM size , I hear those are a great length . I have not been able to see either size in store to try on , I feel like the Mm size is just a tad to small and the GM Just a tad to big , wish they made an in between size lol ! Still so pretty !

Best Review Ever of this bag! I'm considering buying this bag but was super worried that my MacBook Air 13 wouldn't fit properly. I have my Neverfull GM but its been almost a year since I've grabbed for it. I think its just too big for my lifestyle. This review was very helpful!

how do you add a strap to the inside straps? I saw a video where there is one strap added, using the inside straps it is on one side in the front and the other side in the back.. my fear is that it will make the bag twist and loose its shape. Do you have an example of adding straps to an otg?

Your video really enhances the beauty of the Onthego tote. 🥰 I'm placing an order for mine today with one of my CA's however I chose the bag with the canvas mono straps. I am not a fan of the black straps which looks like an afterthought to me on this bag. I don't know if the canvas straps will be discontinued so I wanted to get it before they are gone! I like the idea of adding a strap like you did. I'm interested to know how that configuration works/feels on the body? I have a reverse pochette Metis strap I could use too! Thank you!

Jeannie Alford congrats on your new bag! I hope you love it as much as I do mine. I was initially not happy with the back straps until I noticed it’s consistent with the rest of the reverse mono bags like the Palm springs. It really doesn’t make a difference to me because a use wide fabric strap which is sooo comfortable and I tuck the black straps behind the organizer. I showed this in another video on my channel. I beg to disagree comparing the GM to a Keep All. Its very different in terms of functionality and look. GM can be pulled off as an everyday workbag (fits basically everything you need for work eg laptop, planner, ) plus it looks good on a lot of casual outfits while the latter is merely an overnight or travel bag. Been using my GM for almost a year on a daily basis and I find it the perfect size for me. GM comparable to Dior booktote or LV Neverfull.

Thank you for your insight. I personally found the GM to be too big for an everyday bag and wouldn’t have been able to use it except for travel. As much as I love the casual look of an oversized tote, it would be too heavy for me carry around if it was full. I do see people carrying their GM and it looks beautiful on them. Dennis Umbal I purchased mine from the LV website . The black straps come with the newer version. The older version with the reverse straps is no longer available on the website.

Mine looks exactly like this one! The fact that you said that the bottom shimmers and I looked at mine in the light and you are right! I also purchased mine from the Louis Vuitton website and it has black straps. I like them, they are thicker than the canvas ones.

Congratulations on your bag! The shimmer of the canvas is beautiful and it can't be found in the other canvas bags that have a red interior (like the speedy for example). It's definitely another factor that sold me on the bag. Thanks for watching dear! ❤️

It will crease if you over stuff it since the canvas and the interior fabric lining will not stretch equally which will create crease if you overstuff.

Hi there! The MM size I show here in the video is a perfect everyday/ work bag. The GM however is definitely too large for everyday and seems to be more of a travel bag IMO.

Yes, the leather straps are comfortable and soften up the more you use them. I also noticed they stretch and become a bit longer with prolonged use. Hope this is helpful!

Yes, I still recommend it in this size. I always use an organizer and extra strap with mine. I see people who over stuff their OTG tote and the canvas does stretch and lose its shape if you over stuff.

Kaisha yes I think it would be a great workbag. It fits a 13 inch laptop comfortably and it is light weight. If you want to fill it up and not have the weight of your items dig into your shoulders, I suggest you get a wide fabric strap . Those are extremely comfortable. There are tons of affordable options on amazon too. I hope this is helpful 🙂

Inspirit Linspirit I think the resale value of both is great especially compared to GM size which is not as hard to get as the mm. I do think the canvas straps might be a plus since their more popular but not a huge difference. Both strap types are very durable but I think leather is more comfortable.
