I love the Pochette Metis, but it is a little showy for me. I found the Coach Cassie to be a great less expensive, less "loud" version. Very similar design - and according to some people, the Cassie was the original in this style, with the Louis Vuitton following later.

I’m eyeing the bag in the empreinte leather but the interior is just not the same. It’s made of fabric and I don’t know why that is.

I had a crazy idea about the gold wear protection from scratching: I'd apply the UV top coat on the hard wear and set it under the UV lamp. I think it would help but I'm not 100% sure

Great video! I bought the reverse monogram about a month ago and I have not used it yet…I am not sure I love the combination of colours. Do you carry your bag in minus temperatures?

I also have it in reverse and I use it all the time. I live in the UK and always wear it with beige, camel and black colored clothing especially in fall and winter.

I have the Pochette Metis, but rarely use it. I know it would ruin my day, month or year if it gets watermarks in the untreated leather. I regret not getting it in a solid color. Very good review.

You can wrap the handle with a bandeau/twilly to help protect the vachetta.

I like the outside, but the inside of an LV is so damm plain! Even plainer than MK bags. Pft! A few thousand dollars for a BS plain bag. At least MK is now creative on the inside and have pockets
