Before we bought the monogram canvas PM, we had a possibility to try, touch and feel several PMs at lv store, empreinte leather is great and so durable, but we ended up at canvas. It is so much lighter and ... cheaper😅. Thanks for the share, darling!

Sabina from Apple City I know I struggled too because I was actually able to get a mono canvas and then checked out empreinte at store. The price difference definitely added to the difficulty. But at the end, I believe I chose the best choice for me. The canvas is definitely still gorgeous and if I had extra money lying around I would definitely add that-maybe the reverse haha! Vachetta scares me 😅❤️

I have the Reverse Canvas and Empriente in Marine/Rouge... I use the Empriente about 2 times as often as the Reverse Canvas... Love them both for different reasons. My next will be the Empriente in Noir unless LV does the Classic Monogram in a World Tour version... then the choice is much more difficult...

I’m so surprised that the empriente is so light! I have a petite Noé in Epi, and that’s surprisingly light. I’m usually hesitant to get all leather because of the weight. Dawn Loves Couture I was surprised that there was not much difference in weight. Really thought the empreinte would be significantly heavier. And definitely agree, I have no regrets with the empreinte. My hair has a mind of its own, I should really learn how to style it haha! But thank you! Hope you’re fully stocked and stay safe. What s also good abt mono pm is that you can use that strap on mono PA, mono speedy bandouliere.. alma.. i also like the mono even though i have the empreinte noir.. definitely empreinte give a bit more elegant / not too flashy look.

Thanks for sharing. So I agree with most of what you shared however, as an owner of the monogram PM while I had to get a replacement of my original PM 3 years after my original purchase it was replaced for free. My replacement monogram PM has been perfect, the strap and canvas are super soft and pliable, my original strap was horrendous. I guess I'm saying that since LV seems to have figured out the production of the bag without major defects it's a win for me. Also, I recently purchased the Coach Cassie in black so I feel like I now have the best of both worlds.

Canvas needs to be used or it dries up sadly. The oils on our hands keep the glaze more supple.

It's not weird. Easy to understand. They use different inside layer to support the outside. Empreint leather is softer needs a strong layer for keeping the bag shape.

Love to have the black leather. So chic. Buy what you love why care about it resale value. My Almas show some light cracks even I barely use them. I think it's normal depending where you live and the climate is colder or hotter. We pay so much for a bag and expect it stays perfect forever. Everything depreciate overtime. I just got rid of all my canvas Vuitton because there are so many fakes out there I was embarrassed to carry it. I live in NYC and see all the newest style fakes. I was out the other day and was very glad to see no fake Coach of any kind out there! They had tons of everything else but no Coach. So now I buy Coach. It's well made, and they have nice things that are all leather and not just monogrammed canvas.

Since covid, the LV website has been littered with this monogram bag. LV is no longer playing and manipulating with the stock of this bag anymore. Lv need to sell them since their company’s stock market value has plummeted dramatically and they are haemorrhaging money! The monogram Pochette metis are now in stock 24-7.
