The alma bb looks quite elegant and classy. You can wear it casually or dressed up. The pochette Métis look more casual. It looks like a messenger bag instead of a designer bag.

Same thoughts. You can wear the Alma BB for a dinner party whereas the Metis might be a tad bit casual.

Love both of these! I would pick the Métis as well. I feel the Alma is too formal and for older women. The Métis has a cooler vibe

I just bought both of these bags - Pochette Métis in dove grey empriente and Alma Bb in honey gold epi. I’d have to say the Pochette Métis is a lot more easy to use, as the leather is soft and has more give. And the zipper on the Alma is so not smooth! Hard to operate with one hand. I still love it since it’s super cute and a classic but definitely has its cons. Thanks for the video!

You can use the strap of the metis for the Alma for adjustment. I got Alma PM DE and Alma MM monogram. They both good for travel and they hold up everything I need for my trip, even a blanket and food 💕

I have the LV alma bb in the vernis and I love it, but I use my empreinte Pochette metis a lot more for traveling and day to day.

I just got the pochette metis in the empreinte leather yesterday. I lam so happy with it, it's such a beautiful bag! It's the perfect size, as I don't like bags that are very large or small and I really like that it has the three sections

I would love to know which Alma PM’s you have? Are you happy with them? I was at one point thinking of purchasing one but as it doesn’t have a strap I wasn’t sure

@@DilaraBosak I like my Alma PM in Epi leather (Electric Noir colour) a lot. I love the design, especially the glossy black finish, and also because it has the “D rings” behind the handles that gives me the option to attach a strap which I did purchase separately. The other one which is in Vernis leather doesn’t have those “D rings” so because I can’t use a strap with it, I hardly use it.

Hi there! Sorry I missed your message until now. The Pochette Metis honestly is one of the most care-free bags I have, because it is soft leather it really still looks new and you don't see any scratches etc. I do try to not wear it if it is raining out because I know the rain can damage the leather, but all together it has been great!

Hi Miryam, I suppose you could do that, however the hardware on the Metis strap is gold and the hardware of the Alma BB is silver, so in my opinion it wouldn't look very nice. I don't like mixing metals so close to each other.

Hi there! Actually, I don’t have the PM anymore. I did keep the Alma! I will be filming an update on the bags I’ve kept soon but in short I decided to part from the Metis as I felt it didn’t fit my style, I preferred the elegance of the Alma. I hope this helps and thanks for watching! ♥️

Good question! It is indeed heavier than any canvas bag I own, however because the strap is a little thicker it doesn’t bother me too much. My alma feels much heavier. I hope this helps!

Personally I would say the Metis because it’s such a classic and it fits a lot more. The Vavin is beautiful but it isn’t in their classic collection so I don’t know how it will do in a couple of years
