Thank you for this video. After watching your video I decided to inspect my bag which is the regular monogram. To my dismay, I also noticed cracking on both sides of the folds. The glazing has also began separating from the flap of the bag. I've had my purse for almost two years. ...Unfortunately, I will be visiting LV this week for a resolution.

I’m really glad this video helped. The same thing happened to me as well two years ago when I came across FashionablyAmy’s video on her Monogram PM issues. My then Monogram PM was almost 2yrs old when I decided to check on the condition. That’s how I found out there was glazing and cracking on the canvas. I hope we get positive resolutions on our PMs. I’m not sure yet when I’ll be able to drive to the store. 🙁 it’s a bit of a drive from where I live. Pls update me how your visit to LV went. Thank you for the update about the loop. Very informative but I was so sad when I saw the cracking on the canvas..It is defective and LV should resolve the issue without question because that is very expensive bag. Thank you for the update. Hi, I had the same issue. I checked my bag after watching Fashionably Amy’s video. They deemed the bag defective and I was able to get a replacement or store credit. They said I would have to check back from time to time to get a new one but then they ordered me one from France. I wasn’t happy with the replacement so I took it back and they showed me two more which were on hold and I picked the best one. If I have issues with the new one I’ll have to rethink if it worth keeping.

Hi! Stumbling into a video detailing about an issue helps a lot. I was so happy I came across FashionablyAmy’s video. ❤️ It opened up my mind to the issues PMs have. I would have gotten another PM as a replacement but it wasn’t possible for a while so I decided on a different bag. Then fast forward to my 2nd PM and I still have issues. I’m still tossed what to do when this is deemed defective. 😞

Hi! I am so sorry u are going through these things with this bag. I remember mentioning to u that I also had the same exact issue regarding the strap and I have the monogram version so I definitely had the glazing issues as well. I’m actually nervous to use this bag since it’s been repaired. I’ve used it 2 x in almost a year and I’ve considered selling it. I don’t know! I really love the look of this bag and feel so disappointed with their quality control. I’m really torn about what to do 😐

Hi! I can totally understand you not wanting to use the bag anymore after having issues/repairs. I have had that kind of situation before as well. If you’re not going for the bag as much anymore it wouldn’t be a bad idea to sell. But you might wanna rethink it a couple of times before selling her since it’s really hard to come by one. Try using leather cleaner and it might get it out. We have tan leather seats in our truck and that gets out Jean dye off the seats from seating in it

Here’s a trick for that loop turn it sideways and it will hold better I know you shouldn’t have to but I had the same issue with my strap and so did Katherine from KW shops and it helps the loop stay better please watch my video on what they did to me with my repair it was a nightmare

Hi! The Reverse Monogram is lighter. Almost like a caramel brown. In this video it is mostly true to what the color is except when the bag gets really close to the screen and the lighting kind of reflects a bit more on the bag. Hope that helps! 😊

After watching your PM review, I started checking my PM and sure enough I found cracking on the corner just like yours, unfortunately! Have you contacted LV about this? Do you think they can fix this issue? I heard that if the canvas starts to crack there’s no way they can repair this. Please let me know if you have any information regarding this issue. Hi! Sorry to hear yours is having the same issue as mine. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten around to going in the store to have the bag checked yet. But rest assured that when I do I will give an update. And yes you are correct, cracked canvas cannot be repaired. My first Pochette Metis in Monogram 2yrs ago had the glazing and cracked canvas issues so they deemed it defective and gave me a store credit. Hopefully they’ll do the same with this one. By the way if you don’t mind me asking, how old is your PM?

Just wanted to let you know that I sent some pictures to my SA and the LV operations manager deemed the bag defective and offered me an exchange or store credit. I opted for store credit since my SA said it can probably happen again, so might as well save myself another heartbreak...lol Thanks again for this video! If it wasn’t for this video I wouldn’t have know these canvas cracks...

I’ve had the Monogram and Reverse Monogram in the past and the Reverse is by far my favorite. If I had to get another Pochette Metis it’ll definitely be the Reverse Monogram PM. ❤️ The vachetta handle on top is just hard to maintain. The Reverse Monogram is just care free and I love the color combo. 😊 Hope that helps! XOXO

peteygurl It was 11 months, was used about a dozen times. They didn't give me any issues, they used the money from the exchange to get me another one. Took them 3 days to get me a new one. I wanted to try again with it, and she was made in 2018! Hopefully we have better luck!

To clean your leather bags, just buy the armor all car cleaning leather wipes or the gel they make,I use it on my furniture at home-I have soft leather chairs and do not want them to crack. Also use Armor all wipes on my 20lb leather elephant (yes,I have a elephant made of leather...you are supposed to sit on it).

The elephants and leather animals are made by Reiner's ottomans in Ontario, Canada. -they sell them mostly at craft shows every year. I really want to get the beige elephant or else a moose-they are pretty good for sitting on

@Annie Ways Yes I got another one this year. And the old one with the cracking they gave me a store credit for the price of the bag and I just bought a different bag using the store credit since this bag was so hard to get.

@Annie Ways it depends if it’s a known problem. I had another Pochette Metis in the Monogram that was almost 2 yrs old when I saw issues with it and they also deemed it defective and gave me store credit for it. LV stands by their quality. They will assess if the issue is normal wear and tear and caused by you or is a known issue on their part. It just depends. Unfortunately some stores are better than others just like some SAs/CAs are better than others. So it will still depend on who you talk to and if they know what they’re talking about.
