Multicolore was my first love with LV, since I started collecting in 2005. I had the pochette cles, the koala wallet, and the wapity, all in white. Of course I idiotically sold all of it. Last year I purchased the pochette accessoires in black (date code shows it was in the first run of the entire collection!!!), and zippy coin purse in black. My favorite bags from this collection are the trouville ❤️❤️❤️ and the petit Noe. I wish the Speedy 30 wasn't so heavy, but that was the style at the time, as they say!! I love your beautiful bag. Amelia Rose has that one and just uses it as a display piece 😍😎 I'm glad you're feeling better!

Wow. Can't believe how prices have gone up. I only paid $1,000 for mine in perfect condition. I knew I should have kept it. I just couldn't carry it though. It seemed such a waste to just have it sitting in my closet. Enjoy yours!

Omg, you are right. I have a white multicolor and it has a bleeding which I always thought it is from the leather trim. I never knew it was due to the inner lining! I was a bit upset because I bought it as preloved but it had been labeled as never used condition and i did n't realize the bleeding until after a few uses. Love these handbag history and knowledge. Please continue these contents!

I'm so glad you are fine! The bag is gorgeous and you should definitely get a white one! It's really difficult, though, to find it in good condition. Mine has turned yellowish on the corners. As for multicolor SLG's, I have two small double photo cases, in black and white, of course, so cute! And, I have a pair of black slingbacks and a pair of white sneakers with red details. I still wear them.

I hope you’re feeling better, at home, and on the mend. This is beautiful! The brass corners give it more structure and a new look overall. There are so many choices when it comes to multicolore. They made a Zippy wallet, and I don’t think they are too hard to get, so that might be an option, especially since most bags in this collection can accommodate one. A lot of the smaller SLGs weren’t too credit card friendly since cards weren’t used as frequently as now. I think they also made a French purse and the Koala wallet in Multicolore which might be a good smaller option.

Hi there! Great review! I just bought the multicolor speedy in white from fashionphile. It's from 2004. There is not color bleeding from the interior. Do you know of in 2004 the issue was resolved? The bag came out in 2003? Since the bag is 18 yrs old amd has had no issue with the interior perhaps I won't have that issue. Not sure who the previous owner is so I'm not able to see of the bag was turned in for that. The front pocket appears to have new vachetta. Not sure of its a new pocket overall or just new vachetta

I'm wondering if maybe the bleeding only occurred in humid climates? 🤔 because I've only seen a handful that have the bleeding. If it's made it this long, I'm sure you'll be fine! I think my Speedy got new vachetta at some point as well. I wonder how much that cost... that's a lot vachetta!

@@CalebSnell I got a quote for replacing vachetta on a speedy HL. It was about mid $600ish. It was a rough estimate from my SA that was at home and not at work so he was not able to give me the exact price. There is not much vachetta on that tiny bag so I think its pretty expensive unless you already own the HL. I was thinking about buying a damaged HL and then replacing the vachetta. Thankfully I did come across a preloved HL that had even vachetta with no water marks. The vachetta on the zipper pull was still in tact and perfect and the vachetta tab with the hole for the lock was perfect and not torn. I got it just over $800. Sending items to LV for repair can take MONTHS now! My HL is perfect for casual wear and for going places that I will not want to take my other luxe bags (the zoo, amusement parks, etc). So glad I purchased it!

Hi Marie! Funny story- so I actually loaded everything up into the bag, and it didn't sag like the normal canvas speedies. I thought for sure I'd need a shaper, but it held it's shape really well, so I skipped it. But if you do it, I might recommend a 25 shaper- that should still sit on top of the brass corner pieces and give your items some support.
