Another OUTSTANDING review! I'm excited to see if LV does produce a Speedy B in Damier! I LOVE the Speedy! I really want a Sophia Coppola bag in either colbolt or cherry, but am unsure if I want to spend that much and deal with the high maintenance of the leather (specifically the corners showing wear and lightening due to use). LV does not offer re-dying of this particular bag. Anywho; thanks, again, for this review!

when you hold both your speedies side by side, do you find that the speedy 30 without the band on the side looks cuter than the speedy 35 B which has that leather band on the side (going down the centre of the side) - the band goes down both sides. Don't get me wrong, I think the idea of the band is good but i am not sure if I like the band coming down to the sides of the bag. I find the speedy 30 to be cute without that glued attached band on both sides. Your opinion?

bjtaylor, i called the LV store and they said that they will be coming out with the speedy 30 B which gives me a strap - long strap with an extension piece. I don't know if I will like the side of the bag which has the accent color of the band. How do you like your speedy 35 B? Do you like the side of the bag where the color is different and stands out?

Hi, I have the same bag. However my vachetta leather is extremely dirty. Is there anything that will actually take the dark dirt stains off the leather without ruining it? Ive already tried a clean white eraser but that's not going to help in this situation. Please help!

Hi, thanks for the video! I am considering a speedy monogram but it is quite rainy during winter here. Do you think if the vachetta gets enough patina i can be caught in the rain with the speedy ( monogram) without getting any water stains? Well I just wanted to say that my first stop was the LV store in Hollywood and at first the lady checked the system and it showed that they didn't have any but she would find the nearest store that does. She ended up checking the back anyway and she found one.. Nervously I checked the bag and it was made in France!!! I was soo excited!! It was meant to be I was told.. bjtaylor, I am getting a Montaigne for a everyday handbag...but want something to throw my kids stuff in and tote around...especially for travel. I am sold on the bandouliere style but the size is getting me. 30 or 35...I know this is the ultimate predicament everyone get into with speedys...what are your thoughts? I feel like I can go to a 35 because I would have a shoulder strap and can carry cross body...

Erica Hyatt It is such a touch decision. 35 was the perfect size for me because I liked the bigger bags and I needed the room. I have downsized and now the 30 is more the perfect size for me. However, the 35 remains in the collection because it is perfect when I travel and I still use it as an everyday bag.

The Speedy 40 will fit in a 15' MBP with Retina, but it can fit into the 35, but you need to ORGANIZE the stuff in your bag really well in order to fit in the 15' in a 35...

+Bianka Britt All very good choices.....just a matter of what is most functional for your lifestyle and what appeals to you the most. For me in order of favorite: Speedy B, Totally, Delightful. JMO That is what works for me. Each one has it's advantages :)

I just purchased the monogram one today. I noticed some pretty harsh wrinkles on them when I took it home from the lv boutique. The lady showed it to me at the store and reassured me they will smoothen out. She also boxed it flat. Is that normal?? This is only my second lv and the first one was flawless.

It is not unusual for LV to box it flat - that is the way it was designed. If you are talking about the wrinkles in the canvas - yes they will smooth out. If you set it in a warm setting it will smooth out a little quicker. You can also stuff it to help smooth out the wrinkles in the canvas. Congrats!

Meme B it truly depends on the individual. How much do you carry, how much extra room do you prefer, do you mind the slouch, etc. Your lifestyle impacts your choice. When I made this video the 35 was my daily bag. Over the years I have downsized what I carry and now the 25 is my everyday bag but I could easily carry the 30 if I wanted a lot of extra space. Now I use the 35 when I travel. It is a age old question with the Speedy. Try both and see which feels more comfortable. For me 25 & 30 are perfect for everyday. 😃. Enjoy your bag 😃.
