When you put it on the crossbody shortest holes, does the end of the strap near your shoulder stick straight up? I've noticed my Ebene does that but was wondering if maybe the untreated leather is less stiff and lies flat.

+N Kheder Hi, no the strap doesn't stick out and lies really nicely. My ebene stuck as well and it's definitely the thick treated leather. Also, I've noticed that the untreated strap is so much more comfortable and softer! Hope that helps :)

I have no idea whatever possessed me to listen to them, I usually never pay mind to what others say but lesson learned! I've been trying to convince myself to get the lv monogram... Thanks for explaining your reasons... My Hubby isn't a fan of the style... But I love it! Especially the 25...I have the speedy 30 with out the strap in damier Ebene... I actually love how the monogram looks more "summer-ish" than the damier Ebene...in my opinion! I have a credit for a bag that has been deemed defective so I can exchange to something else... I had the Pallas and now I'd like to try another bag... Lol... I'm gonna have a lot of credit left if I get the speedy 25 B

Haha totally go for it, plus you'll have all that extra credit for something else, win win 😉 It took me 2.5 years to finally decide to get this bag and I can't believe i didn't buy it sooner, I absolutely love it! And you're right, I never thought about it before but it is very summer-ish in an unassuming kind of way. If you've been pondering on it, I'd say try it - it's become one of my all time favorite bags (which rarely happens as I'm pretty fickle) and if you decide you don't like it, the resale market is very good for the speedy b's :)

I went yesterday to get it...and honestly.. as much as i wanted it ...I couldn't bring myself to purchase it...the reason being they had 2 in the store and both had flaws I couldn't accept...its about 1600 here and i shouldn't overlook it because its hand made...the piping on the sides weren't done well on both the bags! I was close to buying it then last min i changed and got a different bag instead...the turenne pm..now I'm trying to decide if i should have gotten the mm instead lol..decisions decisions!

That's a lovely bag, I've had my eye on it for a while - I hope you enjoy it! For the price, I'm getting annoyed about the quality LV is producing recently, I mean sure it's not their "high end" range (the canvas bags) but for a bag that's not even leather that's a pretty penny, and it's getting harder and harder to find a well made bag and you have to go through several, sure I get you're Louis Vuitton and have a high demand, but if they keep it up then they won't have such demand any more. And I always second guess myself about whatever I bought but I figure if that's what I instinctively went for then there must be a reason, so I hope you enjoy your beautiful new bag in good health!

Hi, I had bought the 30 several months before buying the 25 because the SA's at the store talked me out of it because it won't be useful and too small. I regretted it instantly. I used the 30 for 4 months and sold it to buy the 25 like I originally wanted and I'm so happy with it! The 25 is a perfect size and it's extremely roomy. After using both I'd go for 25 over 30 any day!

Oh god, how did you resist not tearing the bag and box apart and getting at the piece?! Sat for three weeks? You have discipline or are very, very busy. If I got this I'm with you it would need the shoulder strap of the Bandouliere. I saw some videos of those who got only the Speedy and regretted no strap. Nice piece.

I got it, so mentally checked it off my list but kinda just put off opening it for later because I needed to do that this or the other and by then I realized it's been a couple weeks - whoops ;) Yah the original is nice, but honestly I don't see the appeal of it because it's so limited to wear and such a nuisance to hold all the time, the strap makes the bag

+RoseEllina That's funny, I would have to get that thing out and ready to use, but there's more important demands in our life. This is just for fun. Right? No way I could carry it around would need the strap. I have wondered what people would think if I got a really nice LV bag for my avocation which is refereeing local soccer. Most refs use cheap ass crappy nylon junk. I bought a fifty dollar imitation leather five years ago have since had zippers fixed it's holding up well, but IMITATION leather. How ghetto! As it is I use my six thousand dollar Rolex to time matches no one notices. I'll have to think about a nice bag. Expensive. If you have any other bags laying around unopened send 'em my way I'll put it to use.

+sally nie hi, all 3 parts of the strap comes together. you don't have to buy anything separately. I bought my speedy b 25 three days back, i am 5.2'' and its a gorgeous piece. the lock, 2 keys, strap (3 pcs) all comes with the bag. hope this helps! :)

Thank you dear!! Yes the strap comes with the bandouliere version, not the original speedy. The bandouliere speedy comes with everything I showed (except the dust bag for the strap that I asked for). I love the speedy 25 size, it's perfect for me and have no idea why sales associates tried to tell me it was "all wrong for me" 🤔🙄 I am planning to do an updated video on the speedy and will show the beautiful patina it has gotten so far :)
