These boots are beautiful but they kill my feet and I’ve only worn them five times... they go beautifully with my outfits and I get many compliments but for me the boots cause me pain to my feet. So I only wear them from car to restaurant, nothing that doesn’t require to much walking lol I should’ve gotten the Laureate boots instead and I agree I should have sized up a size as well to a size 37.5. Lovely video! Very informative and well organized :)

CMK hello thanks for commenting by the way! I think it’s just my feet because it just starts to hurt around the ball of my feet ( metatarsal part) and I had to place a shoe insert to make it somewhat comfortable. I guess beauty is pain haha. Next time I will get the sizing right for my next LV shoe. I would love to watch another video on the Gucci limited edition! I will be anticipating for that video! Have a nice weekend as well!

Just bought these over the weekend love love love these. They are my first pair of designer shoes. I wear a size 8 to 8.5, but for years I have always purchased a size 9, I still cannot wear thick socks but it's ok. For the most part, they are extremely comfortable. Since this video is 2 years old, LV has updated the spare shoe laces box, and the individual shoe bag size--they fit perfectly.

Totally agree that they're ridiculously comfortable (considering the extreme heel height!) but yes a tight fit so thick socks are not possible. Hi so I normally wear a size 8 but like to get all my boots in a half size up at least if they are high heeled boots. You think I should go to a size 9 for this shoe or stay at a 8-1/2. And I never can wear a 9 that's waaaaay to big for me.

You're totally right that the missing element is actually seeing the boots in action, styled with outfits - i'm being a little sneaky and saving that content for a future shoe collection video ;) I'm aiming to add a few more shoes and then style them all together - sorry about the wait! You'll probably get to see these shoes in action on my IG feed in the meantime. I tried calling my local LV store about a size exchange but they said that since they're not restocking, they can't do that for me :( I'll have to exchange at an LV store overseas! What a wonderfully detailed, informative, and thoughtful review!! I also love that you gave some styling options with photos. I just purchased mine yesterday. The boot is a bit tight in the widest bony area at the front of my feet, and I was wondering if LV would be able to stretch that area successfully , and if they would damage or scratch my boots in the process.

I subscribed to you in January of this year when I happened to catch your Hermes shopping trip in Paris. It was was very tense to watch that video wondering if you were going to get the bag you wanted. Thank goodness you did! I 💜 the new LV boots. They're lovely. I'm pleased to know they have a flat boot style. I'm very tall to begin with and I have a flat narrow long foot with no arch. I know that beauty is pain in some instances but, in my case anything with to high of a heel is torture in the worst degree. It's disappointing to look and not be able to enjoy. There's nothing worse than admitting defeat and carrying a shoe you loved and felt okay in when you bought them to leaving early because the pain had become unbearable. Fun vid! Again, I missed it initially! In case no one's mentioned it.... the canvas pieces get more supple, I have two SLGs in the damier ebene, and in a year, they feel almost soft and leather-like. I live in a dry climate, too, so hopefully it goes quicker for you. I would recommend that you wear them, and handle them with your hands, frequently, perhaps wearing the around the house as often as is possible. Thanks for the video, I was curious about those. I hope your next shoes are Manolo Blanik low-heeled, pointed toe, black leather pumps, because I just got those from Nordstrom here in Canada. But they are 'generic'-looking, and after what you just said, maybe not those. How about Fuschia? That's my final guess. I was nice to 'see' you! Until next time...

Great point about the canvas softening - it's exactly what i've noticed a fortnight into owning them/wearing them a lot! They're a whole different material now and indeed very leather like. At the beginning it was more of a plastic, rigid nature but definitely now that's all gone and it's supple. Your MB heels sound like such as timeless piece, elegant and comfortable. I unfortunately have short legs so i never go low-heeled :P Fushcia was actually one of my top colour picks! Hi Madam Sheena thanks so much for watching! There was a couple of months where i thought quite seriously about it but then my interest tapered off. I think this is why i like to contemplate an item for over an year haha because my tastes do shift. In general, i like the proportions of the medium size but i don't really use larger bags much. I find the minimal design classic but a little luckluster...and i haven't yet found a colour i have fallen in love with. It's stunning in black but i own too many black bags already so i feel like it's not for me. Hi Jasmine thank you so much for watching! Yes you're right, the shoe can be quite tight at the tongue and the canvas can poke into your skin. I've found it to soften with time and perhaps the shoe has better molded to the shape of my foot as i barely notice this anymore (or have i just gotten used to it?!). Hi Belle thanks so much for watching and i'm glad you're considering these boots! Just remember to size up :) Also the boots have a plastic insert that's hidden snugly under the front laces - i only just discovered them on my 3rd go of wearing them!! So make sure to remove the plastic insert as that also helps to loosen the shoe fit. My IG is "c.meow.k", thank you for your support.
