Louis Vuitton Taigarama Fuchsia | What is Happening to the Quality! Follow up Review

So excited that I was able to get this Louis Vuitton Card Coin Wallet from the Taigarama Collection in fuchsia. Finally got around to switching out of my Louis Vuitton Recto Verso wallet into this new one. Used it for one day and this is what happened. So disappointed in the quality. None the less, I still love this collection and the limited edition color. Do I keep it or do I exchange it for something else (since this color is sold out)?

I would definitely bring it back to the boutique! Louis Vuitton is a luxury fashion house so the quality should exceptional and the piece in question flawless! Unacceptable for a luxury brand.

I ordered same piece in denim color. It arrived with glazing issues and a tough zipper like yours so I exchanged for another one and got lucky as it has a super smooth zipper and smooth perfect glazing. I have used it 2 maybe 3 times so far for very short errand runs and haven’t had the inside come out hopefully it stays that way! I’m scared to put things in zipper pocket because I don’t wanna stretch out the card slots so really even though the piece looks so useful it holds like 3 cards for me lol

Hi...I wanted the pink color, but it was so hard to find so I got the light blue. I have not had issues with it. The pink is such a butiful piece, I would keep it & send it for repair. I would just use it occasionally.

Shelly A. mentioned the quality of the fuschia coin holder was different from her other ones in her review. Hers with zipper related. I think for your defect, you should get a credit and put it towards something else. It’s real unfortunate how they make such little quantities of these items that you can’t even get a replacement. 😢

Great video , I have 3 LV bags & they’re great bags and all but I still look at them like hmm are they worth it. I’m waiting for the palm spring mini to get back in stock cuss it deff getting it. Then I’m taking a little break from lv lol & if I were u, I’d deff exchange it !! I’d get the key pouch.

Just curious what you ended up doing. I personally would’ve gotten store credit. Especially if you can’t use it as intended. There is a video where the person had the exact same issue. Only that wallet was the beautiful silver color. I believe that person was returning it. I find it strange that you don’t have that issue with your blue one. I have the recto verso. I hope I don’t have any issues with that one and I just purchased their new Romy card holder which has the same style. Hopefully all will be fine with that one as well.

Hi! Ok, so I have the same wallet but in black. I had the SAME issue and was equally disappointed. I bought this wallet because I have four boys and they all now have ATM cards that I wanted to keep with me. I also wanted to hold our insurance cards in the middle zipper. Initially, I had no problem putting all the cards in. THEN, I took the wallet out to show my sister and the lining pulled out as I was taking the cards out like yours did. I had to take EVERYTHING out and repack it just to get the cards to refit. Also, the wallet is not stuffed. Long story short, I had to pull the cards in and out from the front at few times within a span of a few weeks and now it's fine! I just think the wallet needs to stretch out a little because the lining is adhering to the plastic cards. My zipper is fine. I do agree about the quality of the pieces and it's unfortunate. I hope this helps. ❤️

Use it and keep it light. I am puzzled that people overstuff and are surprised about damage. I know it is not your fault. I have the same one preloved and have no issues but I don’t overstuff

I think the zipper will fix itself the more u use it i have this card holder. And the leather card slots the more u use it more it will be easier to get out

How sad is that! So as a new comer to luxury - after a lot of deliberation I bought my dream bag the monogram pochette metis - I decided whatever happens to it I will just get it repaired...I’m hoping that by now they have improved it 🤨....if you love this piece I would get it repaired at LV and use every bit of it, including that slot...mass production usually equals sales and lower prices but not in this case 😀....

That is very disappointing. Where was it made? Curious. I just purchased the pink. I will let you know as I use it. Since you have the cobalt color and you’re happy with it. I would exchange it or get credit. Too many issues in my opinion. Maybe find same color in another LV SLG. Btw- please keep in mind if you ever decide to sell the PSM. Or if you know any of your friends…either the reverse monogram or monogram PSM works. I know your’s made in France. I’ve been waiting for months…. Your videos are so great! Thank you. D

@@SomethingLatte Nope, it’s clearly a design problem. I got a Gucci GG Marmont card case Style ‎657589 DJ20T 1000, love it so much. Putting all my cards in it does not bend it out of shape and it’s shorter with more card slots making it very pocket friendly.

I would personally exchange it. For the prices we pay, it’s unacceptable to have to slide the lining back in with your finger. I think your particular piece may be defective, but there does seem to be a design flaw with this item in general.

No, unfortunately they don’t customize anything unless it’s something with a world tour set. Lots of the colors are seasonal so it’s not available forever 😞

I bought the blue(denim) one because the pink was sold out and literally less than a week of use the glazing on the corners is started rubbing off almost completely and my zipper gets jammed. Really disappointed with the quality because this wallet is so functional and stunning.
