My husband also picked out the Tikal for me back in 2007. He just bought me the Dauphine MM for my birthday. I love it but since it was ordered online, and I’m not sure if they’re shipped this way now, the gold and leather strap were inside the handbag without any protective covering or a pouch for the gold chain. I’ve looked at almost every unboxing here on KZbin and I see they all seem to have the straps wrapped in something. The booklet was also absent. I also noticed some sagging in the from left part of the handbag. LV customer service said they would exchange it. I’d have to send mine back and once they received it they send out a new one. However, at this point I’m feeling lucky compared to some of the reviews I’ve read where the transaction got lost somewhere and people either lost their money or have waited 2-3 months without their money or the handbag. I guess I can drive 3 hours to the nearest LV store but that’s just such a hassle for me. Im torn between feeling like someone else opened my handbag first, maybe didn’t like it as I’d returned it or im just being a bit paranoid. Anyhow, I still love my Tikal but I haven’t seen any for less than $800. I’ve seen some for $2,600-4,100. I’m going to look on Amazon and find the rings so that I can make it versatile. Can you give a link for the crossbody strap? Thank you. Great video!

That’s disappointing about the dauphine! You don’t want a bag that feels “used” or “returned” when you spend a good amount of money on them! My crossbody strap is from Etsy, they are called mccraft. Thank you for watching my video!
