My store is the same! They literally only get one of every bag in…and even then they don’t get most of the new/limited pieces in. Anytime I’m looking at a bag, I ask to see another one to compare, my SA will check, and there’s never another one to compare it to, same with the twillys, SLGs, etc. Its so annoying. I always feel Iike im buying preloved there; there’s never any stickers to peel off, many times there are hairline scratches, and I turn away many bags because of other imperfections I can’t get over… The other day I was looking at a DE Speedy 20, pointed out a very noticeable scratch on the leather to my SA, she took it to the back to apply some sort of treatment to it, came back and asked if I could still see it🥴🥴I could. Hahah. With these insane prices you’d think they’d be willing to keep one of every bag as a try-on bag, and keep actual inventory in the back🙄🙄🙄🙄. Anyways, I hope you find your perfect East West! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Ohhhh Jess you came to my neck of the woods. Girl this is our summers but I swear this summer has hit harder with the heat 🤣🤣🤣 we do not have the best LV boutiques here. And when you know your bags and point things out 😂😂.

I go to La Jolla, it always so limited but it’s my closest store. Kinda sucks. Btw u have me looking for bag charms now😅

I like the look of the PM EW, but the s-lock is not my fave. It also is much smaller in capacity. I'm not a PM fan to begin with though. I do love the speedy 20 & love the cream colored one (been eyeing it lately). However, I just saw the interior last week & its light colored cream just like the outside (which would get dirty for me). So I passed. However, the Diane in cream Empreinte has a pretty brown toned interior. I already have the black Empreinte and blue hour Empreinte speedy 20 (in addition to 4 other canvas versions). They're the best bags, imo. So versatile, timeless, with good capacity and price point. I switch my straps to them all the time, too. 🤗🩵

This same thing happened to me when I wanted to buy the Alma BB in Canada...the only one made in France had scratches, there were 2 more but both made in US. I waited till I went to Paris on vacation and got it at the flagship store.

Wow what an awful experience 😔 I think I would question from now on if the bag was on the shelves at one time or if it was a return. I’d want fresh new, that the whole public hasn’t touched. I know if you order from the website they source the item from the closest boutique to you and we don’t get a choice that way. Luckily i only order perfume or bag charms online, not bags. Gotta inspect the bags in person before we buy due to the quality concerns these days 😢 otherwise it’s a hit or a miss.
