Louis XIII rare and expensive cognac review

In a moment of feeling "you only live once," my girlfriend and I bought some Louis XIII Cognac, and here I describe it to you and give some information on why it's so good and why the bottle is such a big deal.

The selling price depends on the country. In Canada, (depending on the province), it varies from $3750 to $4300. It was a lot cheaper in Germany.

Just curious why would you say first and last time if you are a spirits review channel? Wouldn't you want your channel to get big enough so that you would have companies like Remy Martin shipping you bottles like this for review?

I've never tried Louis XIII, but I was lucky enough to have obtained a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle. If you have tried Pappy, how does Louis compare to Pappy?

totally different tastes. I prefer the Louis as it is really more complex, I can get over 20 different flavors off a Louis XIII but the finish is very quick. I have only tried the Pappy 23 and it is a great bourbon well balanced and smooth slight touch of rye etc. I know a few people who would prefer the Pappy but for my tastes. I personally am not going to pay 1500 for the Pappy but I have the luxury of having the Louis.

I remember using profanity with a gentleman. And afterwards he packed up The cognac Loui xiii and I never saw them again. I know who they are now. There's so many people claiming to upgrade to Loui xiii and the thing is there dishonest😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Remy Martin Louis XIII (RMLXIII) .... on a cruise ship? ... essssssssh... I dunno... too much chance of not getting actual RMLXIII. I would have kept a small sample for comparison later to a sample from a reputable certified lounge. Many people (to reclaim some of the cost) sell their empty RMLXIII bottles to unscrupulous bars for hundreds of dollars. You really have to know the bar owner and bar tender, else there is a good chance of getting ripped off. At approximately US$400 as of FEB 2023 for a 1.5 oz shot, it's not worth the risk... throwing away $350 for a $50 shot of very good XO that only an expert can detect.
