An interview with her was in my feed. I liked her so much I ordered as many books as I could from my local library. I just love the world she created and the characters. This interview makes me admire Louise Penny even more. I, too, am a recovering alcoholic and my husband has Alzheimer’s disease. In retirement/caregiving, I have the time to follow my dream of writing. However, at this point, I am more of an appreciative reader. I really liked how Louise described going into her little world of Three Pines where she is in control of what happens and enjoys the company of her characters Thanks for sharing this friendship with us.

The great thing about her books is the psychological aspect. It isn’t just about solving the mystery, it is about the characters. Everyone should have an Armand or Michael.

She is a master story teller when she writes. Some people can tell a story to other people and some people are masters at reading someone else's words. Louise puts it down on paper where she can't take it back and anyone can scrutinize what she has offered. What she has given to us is excellent. Excellent. Thank you, Louise.
