Great video!!! i kind of did the samething, i have Durotrax on a Xmaxx for the last year and didnt know they was Louise R/C tires, i have never had to reglue them at all in probably a year of usimg them...I have been really happy with them...I use them on dirt, asphalt, concrete and any surface out there....Thanks for the info!!! 💯👍👍

I run the duratrax hatchets on my savage XL love the way they hook up .. very light to be the size ..I like running Maxx size tires just because the trucks tend to be faster

Belted tires in general remove centrifugal force. I run bqckflip tires on 90% of my trucks. And they are 45$ A pair on amazon vs 90-110$ for any aftermarket tires. Proline or louise rc. I simply cannot justify spending 200$ on a full set of tires when i have 2 yr old backflip tires with 80% of the thread left and have the perfect balance of ballooning and handling. When you buy non belted aftermarket tires is that the tires balloon like 2 times more than any stock arrma tires even more if you gear up, easier to blow and makes the car unnaturally overpowered And can mess with ur gearing because of the crazy change of tire size. And you should have fully gas the kraton to see how much it balloons vs the copperheads. Arrma and traxxas been making great tire compounds until they came with the sledgehammers. Hard rubber resistant to cuts and blowing up. Idk why the aftermarket CANNOT make good rubber. They like to make Soft stretchy rubber that crack over time and like to tear easily with terrible foams OR makes tires that are useless in the air aka belted tires and charge twice the price of stock tires. At least louise rc getting close to that still going to cost an arm to equip one single vehicle

What weight shock oil do u use?And if its stock, what would u recommend? I feel like the stock oil is too thin. I purchased the mx38 belted, and they are a little too big for the savage.

jThe tires look a bit too big on the savage X. But they dont look to be when compared to the stock ones maybe its just because they are new and shiny
