Did you give up and sell the Sledge? As a sidenote, once you ALTER the rc from stock form, it's not the manufacturers fault upon breakage 😳👀 Now, had it whacked out on you stock.... TOTALLY Traxxas 💯

Will the Kratons EXB 8s Esc work with this motor?

Dude! I straight up saw you have an RC8X, you can easily adjust braking down to resolve that issue. I set mine to about 62 and my MT10 never rolls forward on braking now. You can also trick the ESC brakes when you set the transmitter limits by holding the ESC program button on power up.

Great rip what driveshaft mod did u do? I'm running max8 g2 160a 4268 2500kv, 22t/39t mod1, my 4s pass been in 80s but did 98.2 on 6s not a pull throttle pin yet but went airborne I'm sure because I stiffened the front suspension 😮was mistake but is thrill only suffered cosmetic damage

Sweet build ….ive got two Hammer Rey’s…mine isn’t nearly as built as yours but I did upgrade with the Vitavon steering servo linkage and knuckles….i did add a locker to the rear and center diff…also added million weight to the front diff….has the new HW g3 system …crawls so much better and still plenty power for ripping around..

I have an older green one. I've done quite a bit of simple mods including a complete color swap on the anodized parts and a Mamba to match it. Other than the stupid motor mount to the chassis, I really have no complaints. I beat the life out of mine and it holds up. Although I do agree that the stock version is best. I have a few Sledges and the one that makes it through an entire session, every time, is my bone stock version.

K8 user here, I like the content, and love my DumboRC controller.

The problem isnt the pin system its the pinion maker every brand is different. I use tekno pinions and they mesh perfect with the pins fit just like stock.

The stock braking setting must be 250 percent.

Razor RC used the hobbywing program card on the MTA so if it is a ready ESC it should still work on that one too could always try I don't have an empty 10 but I have the MT8 and it works

My esc burnt up so I put a spektrum 100amp esc in it and it is a world of difference

The Mt 10 is a lot of fun. RPM arms is a must. The body and posts are garbage along with the wheelie bar. Once they break off just keep bashing without them

I put those washers in front of the aluminum upgrade shocks like you did to capture them on the shock tower. I had seen a video when those shocks had come available where someone had issue with them popping off the tower, so I assumed that Team Associated started to provide those washers with the shocks to address that issue. Too bad they didn't provide any instructions indicating that is what they are for. I don't think the truck really needs the upgrade shocks, but they are really nice to have.

Razor RC has a video on how to hack the esc to turn the brakes down. I used the hack to turn my mt10 brakes down to 50 %. Much better

That trucks like my xmaxx 8s with a max 5 system it’s just had to much power and just would wheelie constantly and sucked to drive even running 6s on these is to much for the platform especially on stock tires. 4s on stock setup is the sweet spot for fun. The gearing sounded off immediately when you were driving it. Yelling in my head to stop lol.

I’ve done this to my Maxx and wish Traxxas would make more of the same with different vehicles

The issue with the mesh is solved upgrading the spur cover to aluminum. I used to have those issues after taking apart the transmission, abnormal noise etc. After changing that cover to aluminum the motor seats way better and doesn’t move during heavy running. What are you all doing shocks wise ?

To me they built this to compete with the hover air and they missed the mark because the hover air kills it and now they came out with the hover air pro 8k it's not a comparison. I own a dji inspire 1, mini se,mini 4 pro,air 2s,air 3,Mavic 3 classic and when I saw your footage no offense, I thought you subbed it with something else and couldn't beleive it was DJI.
