Excellent lesson on the most difficult aspect of water colour painting. That is to allow the paint to do its job. I've been dabbling with watercolor for sometime. But though this is very clear in wet-on-wet, there is a temptation to aid the paint to move. One touch and its a disaster. This comes thru clearly in you video. Thanks. I found the last 1 minute hilarious too. This is exactly a problem all of us face when speaking into a video camera. Very enjoyable!

“I let it do what it wants to do,” re: color mixing on the paper. Again, YES YES YES, it’s so organic and…ok…I’ll say it…soul-satisfying, to see what the water, pigment and paper want to do on their own. That makes it all so organic and unique and original, which is why I picked watercolor as my medium to begin with. Later, I want to try alcohol ink on yupo paper. 😊 You’re going to eventually help me make that transition, though you don’t know it yet. ❤
