I’m so proud to be a Patreon. There is only 1 artist that I would freely support, and Louise gets that distinction. She is extremely talented and an excellent instructor.

I enjoy listening to you talking about your preparation and things that can go wrong, even for professionals like yourself. It's easy to think that you are the only one who makes "stupid mistakes" when it happens to everyone and it's not STUPID!

Great to see you back! These Cockatoo's are wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing your skills with us. You're a fabulous teacher Louise! 🌹 Btw the Cockies would probably have loved to have a spray from your garden hose. They love showers. They're very dusty birds and have a natural powder on their feathers. 😊

Just a little hint Louise is perhaps when doing main long vid for Patreon if you want them to be male and female, the female would have a deep Burnt sienna eye colour and the male black. Just a little something that wouldn't really matter anyway. Love your work immensely

Wonderful to see you again. And a happy new years. Worlds apart!!?? How I've yearned to have 'exotic' birds pop in like you have there. But here in the UK, we've been super blessed with the re-introduction of Red Kites. A wow factor with every sighting. Weird to think we each have wildlife that we'd love to see, that the other is so used to seeing, that it's no longer an event. Such is life around this great big world of ours. Well, it's happened. I finally got up to your level, and enjoy every passing moment, when "Oi, Nasher. Here's your cuppa". My beloved wife brings me back from such a wonderful day dream... LOL Well, anyway Louise, many thanks for another astonishing display of the mastery of watercolour painting. Welcome back.😋

The adjustment on the stain left from yellow edge was recovered beautifully. Would a diluted bleach applied softly on the paper work? Would it not make any difference? Or ruin anything other color placed on top be affected?

Another STUNNING piece Louise! I have also had staining issues with certain brands of masking fluid! One that works well is Drawing Gum by Pebeo. I also had a chance to try the Fabiano Soft pressed paper. Thank you for the recommendation, I absolutely LOVED IT!!! It's the perfect medium for me! I can get the details but still get the beautiful granulation when I want it, like with my Cold pressed. Even better is the price. So...much less than my Saunders or Arches! I'll have to tag you on Insta to show you how it turned out!
