Just a quick note. The IKEA versions of this sort of frame comes with a removable acrylic 'glass' and most likely a tad less than Amazon but of course, you have to go there to buy one but I tend to buy their frames 'for stock' at home. This creation is totally and utterly wonderful. Thank you Louise.

Oh, wowww! I am always so fascinated by people who can paint. Watching others paint make my fingers itch to pick up a brush, even though I can't paint so much as a stroke. You are so talented! Then you made it 3D, no less! I do love this...I love the sea, whales, hills and mountains. The clouds look like a puffy roof or blanket overhead. 😊 I like that sort of sky because, to me, it "feels" like I'm being cuddled and protected in a blanket. Silly, I know. 🙂 I learned something new, too!; that the first coat of acrylic paint doesn't adhere well to resin. Makes sense! I wonder what would happen if you took some wet/dry buffing paper and lightly went over the resin, first, before painting? Would it enhance, or mess up, the texture? Thank you so much for taking the time to make another video for us! You are such a gracious hostess. 😊

Hi Pam, sorry for the late reply. Yes you could print onto transparency film but it would need sealing before adding any resin ( it could be a bit of a pain) I’ve thought about doing a similar thing myself.

Oh wow - this is just stunning Louise! You really have surpassed yourself this time - WOW! Hope you're proud of yourself. (I keep meaning to ask you about your laser printer, btw and your mentioning it in the video reminded me... I'm on the lookout for one that prints decent colour quality. I understand that this is tricky as laser printers aren't geared up so much for colour/art printing. Would welcome your suggestion!
