What a great idea. How about painting the middle with blackboard paint to cover blemishes & give users something to play with while waiting for dinner 😂😂💕🦆

They are beautiful. If the damage to the slate bothers you too much, they would also be beautiful if turned in to dragon eyes. 🤪😁 👏❤️

Hi Lou my Dear Friend! I love this idea! It looks so much fun, and gives a beautiful effect. All plastic containers in this house gets the Tupperware title 🙄. Yet again you have taught me a few things as you always do, also got my 2 brain cells rubbing together. The texture and the gold on black looks so rich, beautiful 😍. Love to you my friend ❤

That is a wonderful technique! I hope to utilize it creating unique jewelry components. Thank you for the entertaining and informative video. (I have all my late Mother's and my own Tupperware. The colors have faded a bit but they remain very durable. I am 72.)

An idea popped into my head while watching you. What would happen if you put mica powder or a color pigment into the soapy water. Would it still foam up and what would it look like with colored bubbles?

Can you do this with regular resin? And do you think it can be done on other surfaces. I like to use acrylic plastic sheets from the hardware store or wooden canvases- oh you just said you used wood ok and that u can only use uv resin 👍 thank you- this is beautiful. I don’t know why I’m afraid to use uv resin I just really started getting into it. I will have to order some and a light

Absolutely beautiful! One question, does it turn yellow at all with time? I'm worried in case I use silver or white.. will it make everything amber?
@LouiseSingletonCreations
@LouiseSingletonCreations Жыл бұрын
I haven’t had any problems so far but it’s a good question because all resin will yellow over time. This one does has good uv inhibitors but I guess the yellowing will happen one day.

Couldn't you remove the damage in the middle of the board by sanding it? Assuming the mat is a solid piece of slate.

Most slate comes with "chips"on its edges. When slate was hand cut, the chips would be very prominent. The manufacturer of this slate apparently trying to imitate the handmade product.
