I was thinking about your comment that the mica made the plate unsafe for food. You do have a couple of choices. You could use a food safe varnish or resin as a sealant, OOORRR use edible glitter instead for food safe items! You know, the "Luster Dust" used for chocolates, fruit, cakes, etc.?? It's actually made WITH mica, but as it's edible, there are no added unsafe binders or pigments in it. Just a thought. Thank you for all you do, it's appreciated!
