Right it was all we had some nights and I sure asfk ate it. People like this guy will never know what real struggling is and sadly there r so many people like this out there like if ur fucking Hungry ur GONNA eat what's put in front of u without questioning it. As long as mom fed us we didn't care what it was bc we knew how hard she was trying. Being a poor kid honestly was prolly way more eye opening then if I would have grew up in a wealthy household. You see and go through a lot before your grown being really poor. I remember when my parents bought me Spaghetti-O's, and they would usually add some cheese, basil, salt, stake etc, for my birthday since they forgot about my cake. It was one of my favorite things ever since I was a little kid, and it would then be something I would ask for almost every birthday.

Naw my family wasn't just poor, we were a statistic level of poor. Spaghettios were literally something I only had once or twice as a special treat because it was seen as an unnecessary luxury. My friends always got to have it and I never got to. To this day, as I live financially comfortably, I will buy a can just so I can fill that little urge in the back of my heart for them 😢

If we had potatoes she was make homemade fries or chips and put them between two slices of bread and ketchup. That was a luxury meal. Those were hard days but that time is in the past now thankfully.

For the meat sauce you made, one thing I’ve found works great is buying medium or hot Italian sausage instead of ground beef and removing it from the sausage casing, and also using vodka sauce. Same amount of effort, twice the flavor

Dude I grew up in a household that ate hangar steak and king crab on a monthly basis and the meatball spaghettios were still an absolutely banging, cannot be beat meal 💀
