My advice remains the same as it does with any fascist law: find a loophole. They always do, particularly with abortion clinics. The exact text of the law demands a large, legible font, and it demands what is to be communicated by the large font ("shall read as follows"), but it does NOT specify the language. Unless they amend the fascist law to close this loophole, teachers should be able to put it up in the original Greek, or any other translation they choose, and be in compliance. B.(1) No later than January 1, 2025, each public school governing authority shall display the Ten Commandments in each classroom in each school under its jurisdiction. The nature of the display shall be determined by each governing authority with a minimum requirement that the Ten Commandments shall be displayed on a poster or framed document that is at least eleven inches by fourteen 16 inches. The text of the Ten Commandments shall be the central focus of the poster or framed document and shall be printed in a large, easily readable font. (2) The text shall read as follows: "The Ten Commandments I AM the LORD thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make to thyself any graven images. Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his cattle, nor anything that is thy neighbor's."

The original language was "Biblical Hebrew," whtever that is. If someone wanted to comply but defy, they could use a Hebrew version. There are numerous translations and different lines selected to make up different versions of the 10 commandments. There are other weird commandments that didn't make it in, like: Thou shalt not drown a baby goat in its mother's milk. It's all very perverse. Children don't testify in court and they are not married - or should not be - so why do they need the "witnessing" related one or the "adultery" one. Interestingly, it says nothing about coveting your neighbor's husband. So I guess that is okay.

The first amendment unambiguously says that the government will make no law establishing religion. This bill forces the Christian 10 Commandments in every classroom, hence violating the First Amendment of the Constitution, the supreme law of the land.
