@@captainkirk4271 My high school didn't have anything on how to cook, plan nutrition, make a budget, how to do credit financing, how to pay taxes, how to write a resume/find work, social skills, how to drive, sex-ed for me was being told "Don't be gay. Gay marriage is bad and sex without marriage is wrong", learning stress management would have been helpful, it wasn't until collage that schools stated having classes in logic and problem-solving, because I was going for Computer engineering. like yay, i can build a robot out of random stuff that's kinda useless skill one it's own, though, parts cost money, and I wish i knew how i'm gonna pay rent. None of the fancy math and engineering i learned really helps me.

I'm from Canada. Our schools teach trade like mechanics, auto body repair, welding, wood work, etc, as optional electives. The US doesn't do this?

Let's look at the ten commandments, where do we find that phrase in the bible? God give Moses a list of 10 insctuctions quite a few times, but only in Exodus chapter 34 is the phrase "ten commandments" let's start at verse 14 (KJV was what i was raised on) #1 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods. #2 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods. #3 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt. #4 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male. I was raised Christian, went to a Southern Baptist church 4 times a week, volunteer with them, hosted church dinners, got awards from bible camp for memorizing the most amount of scripture, used to be really into Jesus, but turns out i'm trans, Tried praying to God every night for years to make me a woman, no answers, I thought i wasn't Christian enough for my prayers to be answered to i tried to study harder and wanting to devote life to God, but more i study the bible and Christianity, the more disgusted i became with it.... I'm an atheist now. Tell me @chilirasbora, do you keep The feast of unleavened bread? Do you observe the feast of weeks? Have you even read the Bible? Try reading sometime, read some scripture, science journals have done research into LGBT issues, i'd say read them too, see what makes more sense and think for your self, don't be a sheep. The ten commandments are religious text, the Bible is religious text, these are to remain separate from education and state. if you want your child exposed to these send them to a private religious school. having it be mandatory that a singular religion is present in schools is a clear violation of our Constitution. as far as what other people do, and how they dress, and what flags they fly, is completely irrelevant. The Constitution protects their rights to do these things, nor do they force you to do those things, so you do you and let them be whatever they want to
