As usual, initial analysis on the MV itself as I wait for the drama tracks. It's super long again but a super short summary would be: Loulou*di will be reflecting and realising that they're falling into the darkness when all they wanted was to be loved and be heard, it's why they're aiming for the top. They will then reach out and be guided down the right path but will AmagiriPro allow that if it means getting in the way of their plans to produce the perfect idol? It's time for Loulou*di to make a decision on how to proceed and that decision will ultimately decide their fate. Will they be reborn to reach their ideal or will they break before then? --- 0:06 A reflection upon events that have occurred up until now... "Stories always begin in prison. If you don't get out of there, time will stand still." 0:17 The prison that Loulou*di are in represents their current position. Prisons are a place of confinement and captivity but also security - Just like how Amagiri Production keeps their idols. They're currently limited by AmagiriPro and the activities they have given approval for, plus the controlled environment they live and work in. Listening to AmagiriPro up until now has given Loulou*di success and has produced devoted fans for them. The question here is whether Loulou*di should escape this place and reach towards what they truly want. We've seen in the drama tracks that they decided to go down the music streaming route of Ageha's own volition, not through AmagiriPro's suggestion. As a result, they have started to lose fans, who claim they have become more accessible which in turn has made them lose that feeling of sublimity. While time is moving for them in a sense that things are changing, is it moving in the right direction for them? "It buzzes. I wake up to the sound of the clock." 0:26 Clocks symbolise the passage of time and its pressures, the feeling overwhelmingness plus life and death. They could choose to stay where they are or move on to live as they like to create their ideal future but is that simply just a dream that can't become reality? Can they really escape AmagiriPro? Do they even have a choice? The clock pointing at 12 o'clock, midday - Noon is the hour when the sun is at its full, it is the image of Divine splendour, the plenitude of God, the time of grace in religion, particularly Christianity, which we have plenty of references to in this MV and in the song's title, 'Invisible Cross'. Love and sacrifice, the cross is a symbol of hope and salvation in Christianity. While Loulou*di has been wanting to create their ideal world to save others, the truth may be that they're the ones that actually need saving. Interestingly, high noon is also a term used by journalists to refer to a crisis or event which is likely to decide finally what is going to happen in a conflict or situation. A moment of decision or confrontation. According to 'Modern Man In Search Of A Soul', written by the psychiatrist Carl Jung, a man's life can be compared with the stages of a day: "At the stroke of noon, the descent begins. And the descent means the reversal of all the ideals and values that were cherished in the morning, the sun falls into contradiction with itself. It is as though it should draw in its rays instead of emitting them. Light and warmth decline and are at last extinguished." Noon according to Jung is the zenith of the day and if we use his comparison, it's when a man is most powerful. It's the time when no shadows are cast. Therefore, the choice Loulou*di will make will be significant and life-changing for them. 0:36 Going back to Carl Jung, he suggests a market in a dream signifies our "self", emphasising our quest for individuality and self-understanding. The market itself is a reflection of our own material gain and prosperity in life. A well-stocked market signifies spiritual prosperity, while a vacant one might hint at a void in our spiritual journey. In the MV, we started off with an empty market, indicating feelings of isolation or a phase when you question your beliefs. It could represent how each member felt alone or had no purpose in life, they were just drifting along until they ended up at AmagiriPro. Once they formed Loulou*di, the market started filling with people (Loumiel?) and got much busier, a period of abundance in their lives full of blessings. Seeing the vegetables at 0:49 indicates growth, renewal and nourishment, an invitation to embrace fresh starts and feeding your soul. Then we see Loulou*di looking lost within this market; this suggests a quest for direction and purpose again, to figure out next steps. This is their current position and it's a good time to look back as we did right at the beginning with the recap to previous MVs. It's also a good time to seek guidance. If you're unable to find what you're looking for, this suggests a sense of unfulfillment or a feeling of something being amiss. Spiritually, this means you're searching for answers or a deeper connection but you're facing obstacles (AmagiriPro itself?) - It's time to be patient and persistent. "Desire from instinct. The ultimate wish." 1:01 The vial which then runs out of liquid. Could this liquid represent the ampoule? The ultimate wish from Ageha's POV is likely to become the ideal idol like ChiHERO was, which is in line with AmagiriPro's ultimate wish and to reach this ideal, they need to make use of the ampoule. 1:13 Flower arches, or arches in general, are highly symbolic and represent various meanings such as strength, stability, longevity, triumph, victory, connection, unity, sacredness and hope. This is what I believe Loulou*di is aiming for. 1:21 In general, overflowing bathtubs symbolise feeling overwhelmed by external influences (pressures/responsibilities) or being unable to manage resources effectively. It indicates that something is out of balance. It might also represent emotional issues such as fear, anxiety or stress which need to be addressed. It could even suggest that there is some unacknowledged part of yourself - with the rushing water, this leans towards a negative part - which needs to be acknowledged and accepted. A final interpretation is a cleansing from past events or experiences, to allow for healing and transformation. This could link to Christianity and baptism, the cleanser of sins or rebirth. It is an indication that you are prepared to accept a new spiritual journey in your life. Furthermore, as the water is clean, it suggests being able to clearly set goals. They've decided on their priorities and are not afraid of difficulties, so they can overcome them easily and achieve success. 1:30 A ChiHERO reference? The scattered petals suggest a flower that is no more. Ageha always aimed to be like ChiHERO but he still feels like he's too far away from that ideal. "Even this is not enough. You can't get close to the ultimate scent." If we link back to the bathtub with the healing element, spiritually, roses and rosewater cleanse negativity and heals painful emotions from the heart, replacing them with peace, harmony, clarity, love and joy. If the rose petals are then used for perfume, this can symbolise a connection with the divine or a spiritual awakening. In Ancient Egypt, perfumes were used to honour the Gods and to prepare the deceased for the afterlife. However, the liquid shown here could actually be representing the ampoule itself, so it being added into what I assume is milk might be a good thing as milk represents "Something pleasant and held to be nourishing to the mind or spirit" according to Shakespeare in his writing, or more generally, symbolises innocence, youth, purity, and maternity. It's associated with kindness, wholesomeness and being gentle and soothing. ....Hoooold on. So are we saying that AmagiriPro is using what success ChiHERO achieved and reusing that "recipe" to create Loulou*di through the ampoule? And that same ampoule is being used on Anthos* now too, all to create perfect idols? In other words, Anthos* for example is just like milk, innocent, youthful and pure but adding the ampoule, to cleanse any negativity and pain from the past and replace this with love and joy - That will basically result in the perfect idol AmagiriPro is after? And Loulou*di have already been subject to this treatment since who knows when but didn't achieve the results AmagiriPro are after...? How long will this go on for and how many more dolls will be created for this experiment if Anthos* don't meet their standard either? 1:48 Once again, we see another clock reaching noon. The time when all the ideals and values that were once cherished in the past are being reversed and the descent into darkness starts. The optimal time for Loulou*di to make a choice before they truly descend into darkness and are eventually extinguished. 1:57 Going back to my earlier conclusion with the rose perfume/ampoule and milk, will Loulou*di also be going down the same path as ChiHERO? However at this time, Ageha isn't satisfied as he isn't reaching his ideal and Toki and Rui are going down with him. At this stage, it looks like they're being cleansed of the negativity and painful emotions of the heart... From this scene on, they're going down the rest of the process to become the perfume bottles in the end. Possibly to prepare for Loulou*di's end and to be used to nurture the new set of idol(l)s?

2:13 The song lyrics here say "The blue bird has crossed over", suggesting the blue bird of happiness that symbolises hope, love, positivity and renewal has passed and is no longer here. Instead we have seagulls in the MV, which are associated with cunningness, perseverance, fearlessness, survival and freedom. Seagulls remind us to move where the best resources might be. They may be a sign to fly out of our realm of comfort, maybe take a risk and to do so with the goal of finding better conditions for our well-being. They encourage us to use our wits to determine the truth, let our voices be heard and be fearless about speaking our mind. They remind us not to take anything for granted and to not leave any opportunity untapped - Is Loulou*di passing up on possible opportunities, new viewpoints or ordinary beliefs out of worry of what others may think if they don't appear to be showing good judgement? Are they picking apart the divine gifts they own because they aren't impressive or stunning enough (in their perspective)? Seagulls are a common sight but they remind us that being ordinary is not a handicap (Could this possibly be a reference to Anthos* who aren't on the same pedestal like Loulou*di but are instead being marketed as being more approachable and relatable?). While things may not be going their way now, unlikely places can bear a new opportunity for them. They need to understand that they are in this place and time for a reason, they just need to trust their instincts and follow through to see the truth. Maybe branching out through things like the music streaming channel will actually work in their favour? Just on the side while we're talking about birds, it appears at the start we have some Hindi lines that translate to "Chirping birds in the blue moonlight, Chirping birds in the blue moonlight" - While the blue bird of happiness has supposedly crossed over, maybe it hasn't left them completely. 2:21 The candles here can represent light in the darkness of life, symbolising the search for truth, clarity and inner illumination. It's the same spiritually and can signify light in the next world for those who have departed. In Ancient times, candles were believed to contain gifts of the Gods and in other faiths like Judaism and Hinduism, the lights of candles are used as a reminder to have faith in God and that good will triumph over evil. But at 2:27, the flames are extinguished and they're back in the bottles... 2:41 Doves are a symbol of peace, spirituality, hope, renewal, transformation and love. They can represent compassion and kindness to others during difficult transitions. White doves also represent new beginnings and luck. This is followed by black butterflies at 2:50, which represent death, change and rebirth. While this seems negative at first, in Japan for example, they are seen to bring good luck, that positive change is coming. They remind you of your strength to overcome adversity and to embrace this change. They can even be reminders from deceased souls that they're still with us, even after death. 3:03 Water fountains in dreams suggest a healthy form of emotional outpouring and therefore a balanced and healthy emotional state. Dreaming of visiting a water fountain in a garden implies being well-grounded and that emotions are integrated well in your psyche. Visiting a water fountain in a garden indicates a new start. Hopefully this indicates they will make a good decision for themselves. 3:12 Putting together the elements above, this scene here suggests Loulou*di will be reborn and there will be a positive change. They will exhibit strength, stability, longevity, triumph, victory, connection, unity, sacredness and hope and it potentially suggests they're being watched over by Kaito and Chihiro (though that's my wishful thinking ;w;). 3:16 The gavel hammer symbolises strength and order while the scales represent balance, justice and equity but also the idea of cause and effect, where every action has a corresponding reaction, therefore decisions need to be weighed carefully. Whatever decision Loulou*di makes has to be taken after careful consideration and they will have to face the consequences of those decisions. They will be sure that the path they go down is not wrong. 3:34 The knocking on the door is likely to represent new opportunities coming their way. It can be a subconscious message telling you to open yourself to new experiences and prospects, to give yourself the chance to grow in both your professional and personal life. 3:43 The process of snow melting represents a fresh start, a renewal, and a rebirth. It symbolizes the end of the dormant winter season and the beginning of a new cycle - a time of rejuvenation and growth. 3:51 The ultrasound with the foetus can indicate becoming aware of yourself and your greater spiritual power, becoming aware of a new situation in your life. It suggests that one is making a link back to the point where everything started and needing to look at the whole process again to make sure that they stay strong when making decisions while creating something new. It suggests one contemplating at starting life again. 4:00 The fireplace in some early cultures was seen as the 'hole' in your home, the place where darkness or bad energy could flow in, even when doors and windows were closed. Lighting a fire in the fireplace was meant to keep evil spirits and demons outside. Generally they are seen as a place of safety, comfort and protection in art and literature, a symbol of home and shelter in books. The fire being emphasised may seem bad at first glance but Christians, the Chinese and Hebrew all view fire as a symbol of divinity. In Egypt it represents a sense of superiority and control. Many cultures also view fire as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge. 4:08 Kissing as we're aware represents love and affection and reflects your heart's desire. It signifies happiness and contentment. Hopefully this gives us further evidence that the decision Loulou*di makes eventually results in their happiness. 4:17 The same empty vial as before makes its appearance again, together with the bathtub but this time the water overflowing is more intense. If the water is out of control, this could indicate that something in your life is out of your control and can have more negative connotations. Does this mean despite Loulou*di wanting to make the right choice, things are out of their control and is stopping them from making those decisions? It's all in AmagiriPro's hands? 4:34 Raising hands in the air during concerts does have a more positive connotation of support or victory or to congratulate but generally it can also be used to gain attention, be it for help or just to be heard, just like we saw in the 'Immortal Tale' MV, with lots of people reaching out for help. This time it doesn't look like people asking for help but more like people enjoying but we do see someone holding up their phone to record - This could represent AmagiriPro keeping a watch on them and their activities from the audience but if we go back to the Anthos* MV for 'R.N.P.N', we saw the same phones and cameras turn into weapons in the hands of the audience/media. Might be the same thing here again but aimed at Loulou*di instead. We know Loulou*di's events are not upbeat so you wouldn't get people cheering like this so maybe they have fake fans? Not too sure about that. We do however get the feeling from this song and MV that Loulou*di are the ones who are actually seeking help. To highlight the song's lyrics - They sing about how they realise their hollow fantasies had blinded them from reality and at some point, they embraced darkness. They wanted to reach the top simply to be loved. And they reached out their hands after struggling countless times to be led by the shape of a distant cross. They're finally getting the help they needed to make the right decision. They thought just going through with the President's schemes would give them what they want but that was only making them suffer and now they want to change.

4:43 Crying Loulou*di - My heart hurts. We've never seen them so vulnerable before, the display of tears comes from the heart and signifies it becoming soft and open. Tears are considered a gift of grace from God as they bring about healing from the harm caused by sin and leads us from sorrow to joy. Once again, it can be seen as a act of cleansing or purifying, a cathartic release of emotions. It seems in Ancient Roman times, mourners filled small glass vials with tears and placed them in burial tombs as symbols of love and respect. Tears are typically associated with (new) life, fertility, and with purity. At this point I like to think they're being released from the evil schemes they were involved in, be it their own or through AmagiriPro. But does release mean death, like it was for Kaito and Chihiro? 4:52 Here we see all 12 vials (maybe representing all 12 idols we've heard of up until now) all filled up with liquid. Could they each represent the ingredients needed to create the one large bottle, the ampoule needed to create the ultimate, perfect idol that AmagiriPro are after? Each idol has their own individual strengths and qualities, combining the best parts should theoretically create the perfect idol... 5:10 Three finished bottles of perfume, each with the names of each Loulou*di members. Could this represent their final forms before the end of Loulou*di? It's interesting how Toki and Rui are half-filled while Ageha is fully filled - Is this pointing to Ageha having no more potential for growth and has reached his limit? Will he have eventually reached his ideal? Is this what he meant when he told Rui his wish was going to be granted soon? 5:15 Generally broken objects symbolise the need for change, letting go of the past and moving forward. The broken bottle in particular may represent a feeling of frustration or disappointment in your current situation, the feeling as though something valuable has been shattered and you cannot put it back together (be it a project or personal goal). As it's glass, this points to shattered dreams or hope. The broken bottle can indicate a release or explosion of repressed emotions. In some cases, a broken bottle may also hint at a need to be cautious; as broken glass can be dangerous and cause harm, one needs to take care to avoid potential risks and hazards. It can be seen as a bad omen/misfortune and the broken glass represents the idea that something is not as it seems or the situation is not clear - a good description of the HanaDoll* project's status at the moment. This however may just be a terrible sign for Loulou*di's fate...

Suuper late but linking this MV to the drama tracks: - The overflowing bathtub is showing how Ageha's emotions at the moment are out of control, and how he's rushing himself to achieve his goals before he reaches his own time limit. We see in the drama CD how he's having a hard time keeping himself in his best condition and things only look to get worse if nothing changes... He's feeling even more vexed because of Anthos*, how they have the high quality Setsuna that has value to President Amagiri. Ageha felt that if he was that great, Anthos* shouldn't have got him. The whole conversation with the President just makes him feel even worse which can't be good for the project either. Later on as the water rushes even quicker, this aligns with Ageha's growing desperation especially seen in L 3-20 where he attacks Toki for being the cause of their activities reducing. - All the water references in this MV is certainly linked to Ageha and the ampoule - The doctors were suggesting that Ageha won't be able to reach his ideal without making use of it/other scientific methods but Ageha is not receiving the ampoule because he's actively rejecting the use of it because 1. He wants to reach the top through his own abilities and 2. The medical staff aren't giving it to him simply because he can't handle it/it's too risky. Ultimately the ampoule does help with stabilising the flower but it can have side-effects as everyone is different. Just like how they stopped it with Kaoru as he's an unusual case and they don't know the risks. Ageha is slowly going down the Kaoru route as he's also missing memories (the Deja vu scene from L 3-20 where he forgot about their last time having cake together), indicating his growth. Or, they might not be giving Ageha the ampoule because there's no use, there's no benefit, it's too late for him according to the president/data? - The candles being blown out may reference how many ancient cultures believed that the smoke from the candles carried a person's wishes and prayers to the gods - L 3-16 has the medical team ask each of their Loulou*di members for their true wishes, Ageha's wish is in line with the project but will his wish come true given his current condition? Rui is in the process of figuring out what his true wish is, not just about achieving Ageha and Loulou*di's vision but what his own real wish is. It might go against what Loulou*di is trying to achieve. Meanwhile, Toki is strongly convinced that his wish is to be with Loulou*di and realise their ideal world. - Rui looking miserable throughout this MV is a reflection of the thoughts/feelings he's currently experiencing in the drama CD - he realises he doesn't hold the same influence over Ageha as say Chihiro, Mahiro or the President and that's tormenting him... He's also getting closer to realising the emotions he does have for Ageha and he might act on them but that again could harm Loulou*di. - The kissing scenes naturally point to love - But the President tells Ageha love is a sin and the perfect existence is one without sin. Can Ageha exist without love? I feel like love is something Ageha needs, even if he claims not to love anyone, he wants to be loved, whether or not he recognises that. He might just be seeking that from the President as his relationship with his actual father has soured. Does this put him at an even worse position for this project? The final lines from Rui in L 3-20 are very impactful - "Even as we carry on with our lives as we rightfully should, if we were to become normal humans, will we be able to see through all the deception…? Will I finally be able to know my true wish…?" I can't help but think back to his flashback with Kaito in his final moments, will all this prompt Rui to change his mind about being so loyal to everything Ageha does? Will he have a hand in Loulou*di's downfall but Ageha and Toki's release from all the pain and suffering?
