I refuse to believe that Loulou*di is over. It's a huge shame that the best 2d idol group ever created ends so soon. They have made me very happy the last few months of my life (even if almost everything related to them is actually heartbreaking) but since the final album announcement I haven't been able to stop feeling sad. I don't want to continue living a life without new music from Loulou*di, they are everything to me, I have become completely addicted. If they don't come back it will become a wound that won't stop bleeding. Takeshi Hama writes the most wonderful songs I have ever heard, and Tosshi, Daiking and Takeshun perform them perfectly, I am eternally grateful for their incredible work. I hope that we can continue listening to new Loulou*di songs in the future. IT'S JUST HHHHHHH IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH I WRITE NO WORDS ARE ENOUGH TO EXPLAIN HOW MUCH I LOVE LOULOU*DI AND THEIR MUSIC IM LITERALLY SO GLAD I FOUND THEM I DON'T WANT THIS TO END LIKE THIS

As mentioned in the Teaser version, this MV has an original story, which can be found in the HanaDoll Booklet vol. 21 in case anyone is interested :) Once again further thoughts will appear in a reply once I get my hands on my copy of this CD but here we go for now! 0:06: "I was alone. I'm always alone. I live in this box-like room, thinking of it as the world. No, maybe this is really the world. THINK OF ME... Hey, would you listen to my story for a little while?" I think it's safe to assume the misshapen doll at 0:24 is meant to represent Loulou*di - Or even Ageha himself in this case. Dolls generally represent one's inner voice, the unconscious and whispers from the heart. This misshapen doll is most likely showing us its true desire for love, something which Loulou*di's members have been denied especially from those they wanted to be loved most by. Loulou*di and the doll here wants to make their dreams of a colourful, shining, beautiful world come true, where they are loved and accepted the way they are, where they are recognised and acknowledged. Where there is nothing ugly or corrupt, a perfect world. Just as an aside, voodoo dolls have been used to unleash pent up frustrations but they can also be used to attain something one lacks. In the case of love, one of the most popular wishes is the return of a loved one. In this case, if we assume the misshapen doll is type of voodoo doll that was created, I think the theory that President Amagiri (who is playing God at the moment) is trying to bring the "Perfect Idol" into this world who he feels is missing is possible. The closest we've had so far is his son ChiHERO who he surely loved so he might be bringing him back, even if it's in a different form. To achieve this, the President created Loulou*di and Anthos* (who can both be represented by misshapen dolls, as they're not perfect). When creating a voodoo doll for the purpose of love, it's said that the doll should be encircled with items associated with love such as perfumes and rose petals (just as we've seen in the Invisible Cross MV, with the perfume bottles representing each member of Loulou*di), to attract the right spirit. This adds to the theory that every idol in this project is only there to serve the purpose of President Amagiri's wish to bring the perfect idol into this world. Anthos* is included in this plan as the Invisible Cross MV at 4:52, which shows specifically 12 bottles (just as we're aware of 12 idols who have been involved in this project so far). 0:36 In the story, the doll doesn't understand the meaning of its name, just as at first glance, "126Veg80" doesn't mean anything. 0:39 Loulou*di as participants of the HanaDoll* project have restricted freedom and this project is currently their whole world, represented by the jail cell. However, since the President has told Ageha that he can't be a perfect existence if he has love in him, Ageha may see this as his sin and the reason he's being ejected from this project. The chains at 0:44 further emphasises how he can't escape this "sin", as chains are said to represent eternal love and human connection. Most of the pins piercing its heart also adds to that. He is a human and can't help but crave love but he's doing his best to deny himself that just to please the President and become a "success". At 0:49, we see parts being produced, specifically parts for dolls. I do believe this whole factory is supposed to represent Amagiri Production, with how they produce idols (dolls) from scratch. The humanoid guards at 0:54 would represent the staff working for Amagiri Production, given how they are constantly monitoring/watching over all of their idols. "'I' who exist for the creation of products and 'Dolls' created as products." 0:57 can be explained through the story - It is said that the doll's work is to produce the "red, shiny thing" that it creates, the doll is constantly cut up and sewn back together every time. To put this into context, I think it represents how Loulou*di's work is to create quality performances never seen before, to strive towards becoming perfect idols as part of this project by making use of the abilities bestowed upon them from having the seeds implanted in them. In doing so, they inspire others to become idols too, just as ChiHERO had done for Ageha and many others who have joined Amagiri Production. The story mentions how "I hated the 'work' because it was painful", just as how Ageha and Toki in particular suffer from the serious side-effects of the flowers. Since the imagery uses red jewels, I think we can assume the red shiny thing which Amagiri Production is gathering from them are their love/passion and their skills/abilities in putting on these performances. 1:16 The "Defect" on the door. In the story, it explains that the doll has a dream of leaving this place and having fun exploring a colourful and exciting world. However, whenever it expresses this, the doll is mocked and taken to a rehabilitation room for punishment. The doll learns that in this world, the more different something is, the more it is right to keep its mouth shut. What this indicates is that Amagiri Production never did take Ageha's ambitions seriously. They let him live that illusion because it had a positive impact on Loulou*di's idol work but they had no intention or even belief that Ageha could actually change the world. We often see the President allowing Ageha to barge in and vent but he never actually does anything to fulfil his demands, he just calls in Rui to deal with it. I think Ageha realised all this too since in recent medical checks, he never did tell the medical staff about his dreams because he knew there was no point, it wouldn't be taken seriously. Rui also never spoke of any dreams to the medical team either. At this point Loulou*di may have realised that they are only being used for a greater purpose and they themselves cannot become perfect idols. It hurts, just as the doll cries at 1:21. Even so, the tears dry up and they continue to work as Loulou*di. I want to bring up the lyrics of the chorus here, starting at 1:04 - "What is there above the sky, If I fly, do I know why? During painful times too, the meaning behind continuing to live." These lines really highlight the struggles Loulou*di has been going through all this time, to the point where they are wondering what it would be like if they were to leave this world. 1:47: "That day, I was exhausted after 'work' as usual. I was about to go back to my room. As I was walking back to my room, rubbing my growing wound, I suddenly catch a glimpse of something black out of the corner of my eye. At the end of the long corridor at the end of the turn, the door was slightly ajar, I hear something through the crack." What the misshapen doll heard was singing, as seen at 2:27. 2:46 is where they come across the perfect doll. Again I think this is likely to be ChiHERO, the closest we've had to a perfect idol, someone who Ageha and other idols have always admired and strived to become like. Generally, dolls that children play with represent companionship, protection and security for children, just as the perfect doll was proving to be for the misshapen doll. In Loulou*di's world, I feel like Chihiro would be a good fit for this role, especially given Ageha's fond feelings for him. 2:55 "Hello" From the story again, we are told that their secret meetings always began with a greeting but there was never a response from the other doll. That person neither confirmed nor denied, which made the misshapen doll feel comfortable. The misshapen doll went to that room often after work (as symbolised by the passing days from 3:01). On days the doll couldn't see the perfect doll, the doll's chest stirred and it started experiencing a dreamy state of mind, as seen at 3:21. I think this again hints at the perfect doll being Chihiro - Chihiro is no longer in this world so can't respond to Ageha no matter what he says. Considering the scenery here is also similar to that which I believe Mahiro saw beyond the door in the 'Liberation' MV, I think that gives the theory even more weight. Also noting the door to the room the perfect doll stays at has no lock, there is nothing actually restricting the doll, it is free just as Chihiro is from this project. "What is the meaning of this meeting and what will be born of it?"

3:28: "The next day, after I finished work, I told them that I wanted to leave. Then I also said I wanted to go and see the new world. They start whispering about something. I thought they were going to take me back to that dark room, however what came back was a surprise. 'Next time will be your last job'." On the last day (3:40), the misshapen doll does its job as usual. However this time it is offered two pills (3:52). The story reveals that the misshapen doll was shown the 2 pills and was told to take them. It's not clear whether the doll took a specific one or both but it was mentioned that the doll took it without any hesitation and with that, his work was done. The rest of the story follows the MV, the doll who was in quite a state as it wasn't stitched back together after its final job then went back to the perfect doll's room and greeted the doll as usual. However this time everything was different. The doll was covered in cracks and far from the perfect form from when they first met. "Why did I not notice it earlier?" the misshapen doll wondered. I think this part would be a realisation for Ageha - That even the legendary Chihiro wasn't perfect. He was a human, just like him, who had been breaking down. Going back to the pills, I think this shows that the misshapen doll took the red pill. In 'The Matrix', the lead character was given the option of taking a red pill, which would enable him to understand what was actually occurring outside the illusion created by the Matrix, or a blue pill, which would allow him to return to experiencing only that illusion. As the misshapen doll now sees all the imperfections of this perfect doll, he's seeing the truth, that Chihiro wasn't actually perfect and he was in pain (the red bloody tears from the now imperfect doll). The illusion the misshapen doll was living under meant he never saw the perfect doll for who she really was - Ageha didn't see Chihiro's true self and the pain he lived through, just the perfect legendary idol named ChiHERO. In the story, the misshapen doll then reached out its hand towards the now imperfect doll. "Hey, will you listen?" (linking back to the text from 0:06). "Because you were there, I didn't give up on everything. Thank you for being with me from the moment we met until now." These lines hit me the hardest. All this time, Ageha did nothing but struggle. Even before joining the HanaDoll* project, he was anguished, he couldn't accept the ways of his family, he didn't like their dirty money and he didn't want to be anything like them. Instead he wanted to become an idol like ChiHERO. He didn't give up because in his heart he kept ChiHERO there to support him through the gruelling everyday. (Alternatively, these lines could also be aimed at Loumiel - If we weren't there, they wouldn't have been able to continue working as Loulou*di, since we supported them, they were able to get this far ;w; We were also there right from the start, all the way to the end.) 4:34 "There's nothing left for me now. So I'll give you one last thing, half of my name." The misshapen doll finally understands the meaning of its name. As it loses consciousness, something warm falls on its hand. Most likely the tears from realising its dream of seeing the new world will not come to be. Just as Loulou*di wasn't able to reach their goals or make the world they envisioned become a reality. 4:41's lyrics "The meaning behind the singing of your end, the meaning of love..." The misshapen doll/Ageha realises this is the end. He can no longer continue working, just like how ChiHERO has sung his last songs. Like the doll at 5:05, Loulou*di also disappears from this world. 5:12 reveals the meaning behind the misshapen doll's name: If you split the code"126Veg80" found on the misshapen doll's door in half like at 5:20 (which is half of the misshapen doll's name), you're left with the bottom half which reads "I love you". Ultimately Loulou*di only wanted love just as the misshapen doll did. Going back to the beginning of my analysis, Loulou*di's whispers of the heart, their unconscious desire was nothing but love, which the President never allowed them and resulted in the tragic end of their story (5:39). Ageha loves ChiHERO who gave him meaning to live, helped him understand what love is. Love is not a bad thing, it's not a sin. So I'm sure he realises the love he also has for Loumiels is not a sin and he's satisfied with that, he was happy to have shared the love he has in him with his fans, he was also happy to have received the same love too. I do think ChiHERO is that influential to Ageha and if not from Chihiro directly, maybe he realised all this through Mahiro, the closest person to Chihiro, the person who looks just like him and who he shares the same blood with. That's the end of the dolls' story and we now see Loulou*di at peace, in a peaceful setting surrounded by peaceful birdsong. While the story of the dolls known as Loulou*di has come to end, in my heart I really believe that the humans named Ageha, Rui and Toki are at peace and are happy. I haven't got the drama tracks yet but no matter the ending, I do want to respect their choice and have them be satisfied with it. There is definitely more in store with Loulou*di, I refuse to believe this is the last time we see them. My heart wouldn't be able to handle such a loss... Loulou*di I will always love you and wish you nothing but all the happiness in the world, you deserve no less. Especially with how everyone involved in your songs come from countries all over the world, you're loved by Loumiel all over the world. And to all Loumiel, I'm sure Loulou*di love us too and don't want to see us sad so please don't cry too much ;w;

After seeing other people's interpretations and having conversations, we figured another very probable theory behind the MV is that the misshapen doll represents Ageha, Rui and Toki's true, private selves while the perfect doll represents Loulou*di idol selves, the untouchable group presented to the public who put on the most wonderful performances, unrivalled by any other group currently active. The idea then would be that their real selves have grown tired of all the suffering that goes into producing their works (along with the physical tolls of having the flowers inside them and its side effects, plus the ampoule/mizu) and have realised that they can't become the perfect idols in Amagiri's eyes after finding out the "truth". Finding out the truth would be something Ageha in particular couldn't handle and it would then start showing through into their public selves, resulting in Loulou*di becoming unsustainable. In order to avoid that, they may have figured that the best option for them is to retire from the stage earlier on, which gives them peace and allows them to explore a new world as the misshapen doll always dreamed of. Another heartbreaking interpretation ;w;/ Once again I can't be certain what getting off the stage actually means but even so, as long as they're happy and at peace with what they've chosen at the end, I think I'll be okay.

@@arueru88 Hi! ...You're not the only one who's not okay after listening to the drama CD 😔 I'm still in denial, I didn't think the end would happen like *that* and the final drama track didn't help 😭 Thanks for your patience, I'll try and bring some updated thoughts soon 🥲👍

@arueru88 Sorry for the super delay! Took me a long time to get back to this, I still can't believe their end was even more tragic than I predicted 😭 I am a little torn between the two theories of 1. The misshapen doll represents Loulou*di's private selves while the perfect doll is their stage personas and 2. The perfect doll is ChiHERO and the misshapen doll is Ageha. It could be a mixture of both - while ChiHERO does represent the perfect idol Ageha always chased after and wanted Loulou*di to become as perfect as him, the toll of their idol work on their private selves was also too much, as represented by the misshapen doll who hated its work because it was so painful. So it could be that the perfect doll was his ideal Loulou*di who was just like ChiHERO but when the doll became imperfect, he saw Loulou*di in its true form - Not perfect like ChiHERO but he saw Rui and Toki who joined him to create this unit and were always on his side. It would mean the final lines of the story ("Because you were there, I didn't give up on everything. Thank you for being with me from the moment we met until now.") make a lot more sense. They would also be the ones who Ageha gave his love to (half the doll's name), as he decided to allow it all to end at Rui's hands. After all the time they spent together, he surely knew that they would follow after him, that was how their bond was. He had nothing else to give them after getting off the stage, realising no-one who saw his performance saw his true self or his suffering that resulted in his beautiful work. There was also the conversation Ageha had with Mahiro, which ended up with Mahiro telling him that it's enough for him to be the only one to chase after Chihiro's shadow (and that Ageha should basically free himself from his ideal of perfection). Given these events, I feel like even if they didn't end the way they did, Loulou*di wouldn't have been able to perform like they did again, it was truly the end for them. Rui and Toki was all he had, the only ones who loved him and he loved them back in the end. To cement the fact this was the end, the President knew this would be Loulou*di's final stage from the end of the previous CD, also seen in the story around 3:28. The misshapen doll (Ageha) performed up on that final stage only to suffer an attack and have it all being interpreted as a performance by the audience which really broke him and left him in a terrible state. He did finish his job and display Loulou*di's best only to lose everything in the end and it's so terribly tragic. But in the end, he accepted his fate. He let Rui finish him and didn't struggle. If anything, he acknowledged his importance in the end and that breaks my heart. ...This is not how they should've ended 😭 Are they trying to make Shakespeare proud because I don't see anyone being happy at this. I knew they would leave us _but not like this_. I am so upset. In respect to them, I really hope Amagiri Production lets them rest in peace and not revive or use their bodies, that would be terrible but it's so possible OTL I do still love them but to think it would be this painful, I never could've imagined it... And then to add to the disrespect that recent notice about their "temporary suspension due to illness". My goodness I have never been so offended or mad at this Production until I saw that. LET THEM REST IN PEACE I want to see them again but at the same time I don't 😭 Amagiri, please be merciful.
