I’m 40 too and just bought my first Loungefly. I got it for my Disneyland trip, but I’m gonna rock it outside of Disney. I get what you mean about being grown and wearing a “kiddy” backpack, but it’s all good! Wear what you want and be happy. Life is short. Great review.

I used to feel odd about carrying loungefly bags to but after awhile I gained more confidence and now I wear them like everyday and get so many compliments to! You may like the crossbody/satchel loungefly bags better!? But loungefly bags are the cutest! Love that one!

Sugar carry what you like, I'm a married grandma of five and I have a mickey and Minnie Small backpack and I absolutely love it. My stuff fits, I'm hand's free when I need to be and the best part is that it's so darn cute 😊. I say have fun and enjoy your backpack!!!

I am turning 40 this March in two months and I just ordered my first 2 loungefly mini backpacks. I'm so excited to see them in person. I ordered the My Little Pony and the Pirate Mickey treasure island ( I wear a lot of nautical clothes). Other than that I have had the same thoughts because I'm a strong Dooney bourke only Collector. I bought my first Loungefly bag in 2020 from Hot Topic around Christmas time for $55. Before that I had a Harry Potter Hedwig Owl Loungefly wallet I paid $35 for earlier that year from Barnes and Nobles. Then in 2021 I found brand new on Mercari the matching card holder wallet for my Loungefly bag. My first Loungefly bag was the Pixar 25th anniversary characters mini backpack. Then in 2022 I bought used from Plato’s Closet a Toy Story Rex Loungefly wallet for around $14. Then recently this month (October 2022) I bought for $81 from Spencer’s my second Loungefly mini backpack. It’s from the Chucky collection and it’s a Good Guy overall clothing design (the clothes Chucky wears). I absolutely love this bag. I was hoping to find a Pennywise Loungefly bag but not been able to. So that why I went with Chucky instead.

I don't think that bag looks kiddish at all! Those bags don't look super big, but it seems like they carry a lot! Sanitizing bag, chargers, you are set! Mints are key, especially with masks! I take back what I said hahaha, maybe it is not as big as I thought LOL! Great points!

I agree with the spacing and everything.I've been carrying the bag like just for my wallet apparently.😁 They r cute but i do use them like for my wallet, sanitizer sometimes my sketchbook will fit in there as well.There also not easy to take now in days anywhere like concerts for instance, now require small bags but they need to be clear bags or purses. I still get them, but I still take the regular backpack for the parks which i'm glad the bag rules hasn't changed yet.

First of all, this is a beautiful backpack that is so you! I would totally get it for me 🥰 However, I totally understand why it’s functionally not the best bag for you. I’m not a mom and I only carry stuff for me so I find it has plenty of room for me. I’m a person that does not carry a purse. I actually only take my backpack to the park right now. My regular everyday life bag is actually a very small loungefly crossbody that pretty much only fits my phone and a small wallet and a few tiny things like chapstick. Anyway, I hope you get to use it more and thanks for the tips on cleaning, which I probably need to do since my bag had been to the parks several times 🙃

I'm 32 and not a major collector of Loungefly but I do have 4 backpacks and I love them! I carry mine everywhere and you'd be surprised. People of all ages carry them so don't be ashamed to like what you want. Life is too short. One thing I like about the backpacks is while they do look small from the outside and look like they might not carry much you'd be surprised! They're like Mary Poppins bag! 😁

I collect loungefly, and they are small but I do tend to manage my things in it. I stuff it to the brim lol. But I got that bag for my sister and she loves it! I love this review about it and your opinions about it you did bring up something I’ve been asking for the longest which is how to clean it! I will totally start wiping my bags

I love this Princess loungefly. It's so cute and looks more grown up like you said. I too kinda have mixed feelings about carrying them in my everyday life but I think this one is a really good one to carry around day to day. I haven't bought one for myself because I can't see myself using it often unless I went to the parks. I usually only have my stuff, so it would be a perfect park bag. Thanks for sharing, Christina. I bought the coraline loungefly Cat crossbody, and LOVE IT and now i will order the Coraline Bavkpahk its quite something with gold and blue, so deff will be seen, but then again, I WANT TO WEAR IT. So seeing this video made me so happy 🥺🥺❤️ love it!

This is just my two cents, but the slightly awkward feeling you get about carrying it might be because that particular bag isn't truly representative of your inner vibe? Sometimes I feel stupid about getting certain things because I would feel embarrassed wearing it in public, and it's not because the thing itself is 'embarrassing', but I think it's because subconsciously I can tell that the theme of it doesn't really sync up with my personality or energy. Although you like the look of the bag (it is gorgeousss), maybe if you saw another princess bag in a different style that matches your energy, you would think 'yeah, this is me' and you would feel a deeper sense of comfort with it because it feels more 'you'. I could be wrong though!
