@@SuperCuber-xu4xp Im not sure if this is accurate since I didn't try it on Ipad but what you need to do is insert a shape then choose a shape and the "shape" menu should slide up giving you options for fill, outline, shape styles and more which is the same thing as format shape hope this helps :)
