Louvers in a Bead Roller?

Great workmanship there. I did very similar with an attachment I mad to fit my English wheel. This allowed me to reach deep into panels with frames and stiffeners. I used guides to cut the slits first with my plasma cutter and then formed the louvre on the powered dies on my English wheel. Straight and curved were no problem. I found separating the cutting and forming worked best for me. Keep making the great videos,you are a true Artisan and an inspiration.

Wow that works great! I seems like the trick is just the right amount of pressure (through experimentation like you mentioned) and a continuous motion with as few stops as possible. Thanks for sharing.

You might try making the bottom die so that you can add part of a skateboard wheel to it. The skateboard wheel might keep the metal pressed against the curve of the top die giving more consistent results with less need to control the cutting pressure so much.

Hey Lazze nice Job, I have a set of full contour louver dies that I've been working on to. Panel distortion is my problem. I like the way your dies support the panel. Joe/Hoosier Profiles

What would happen if you made a shorter step on the back side of the curved die so the flat of the louver would pinch between the the upper and lower dies?
