Dan you are doing such a great job of these videos. These family videos are what got me hooked on your channel in the first place all those months ago . Being paralysed at the time but able to forget my physical state and escape into your wonderful world was priceless. It reminded me of how far I have come since that first video I watched ....and now I feel you too have also come full circle with your channel. Back to basics of the wonder of caravanning. Your channel has it all!, so now there is something for everyone! You and Ange keep me so inspired every week and I thank you so much for helping me raise that incredible amount of money for my charity. You truly are my hero!

You should have gone to the bridge, there is a walkway alongside of it and you get a good view of the underneath in close up.

Great video and very well edited, really enjoyed the slow motions bits, thanks guys

Really enjoying this series. You seem to have taken your editing skills to another level on these. Very creative and some cool video shooting too. We were down in that area last year, not staying on the site, we were looking at Caravans at Salop Leisure. We took time out to pop to Ironbridge too. It's a very nice place .... shame about the bridge renovations scuppering your day. Coalbrookdale, and the Cemetery, resting place of some of the Darby family who were the pioneers of the Industrial revolution, Blists Hill and a short drive away is the Wrekin. All very interesting stuff ...... but history lesson over. Thanks for posting these up. I hope they inspire a few more people to visit the area as it is well worth it.

After watching the videos we looked at booking to stay here for August bank holiday 2019, only to find out the prices have been raised from £44 per night, for 2 adults and 2 children over August bank holiday 2018, to £66 per night for next year. It looks nice but a 50% increase seems rather excessive. We were told it’s because of the new spa facilities?
@TheTrudgians6 жыл бұрын
That is excessive. That would make it far too expensive for us to consider returning. Im not sure if that is a new development or just the hot springs and beach area. Shame.

Love all your videos Dan, keep up the great work, mixing up your lovely family experiences along with some tips and useful upgrades vids. Been watching since you did the Carry on Caravanning filming, good down to earth stuff. Re the gorgeous doggie you have "Chops" do you have any tips about hols with the dog? Maybe an idea for a vlog? We've got a young lab cross (not so small like Chops!) so would value some advice as I saw a while ago you felt a bit 'tied to the dog' and whilst you all want a good time it's tricky because not all places will allow dogs. It seems ours just wants to hog the bed and get up at dawn for a walkies!

@TheTrudgians6 жыл бұрын
Hi, yep - you can book this from the reception and use the fire pit and one cooking area. you purchase a token and that gives gas, power, water all that you need for the evening. Take care Dan

I just had a huge driving holiday trip through France, Switzerland, Italy Luxembourg and Belgium and you can always spot the British from any distance because everyone has brand new caravans and campers. Honestly if you see the Europeans they all use really old ones. Thats no joke Dan I didn't see one modern van in any country unless they were brits. Why is that are we just proud or what it completely baffled me. I think all of our old used ones go abroad. Last year I did 2300 miles in Europe and it was exactly the same thing. Can you do a vid and find out why

Love the outdoor cooking area , did you have to book that ? Is there a cost?
@TheTrudgians6 жыл бұрын
Hi yes, you can book the outdoor cooking area at the reception. you pay for a token which gives you power, gas, water all for 2 hours and use fo the Fire pit whilst there. If i recall i think its £12 for the evening. We split the cost and the use, which made it great for socialising away from the caravans etc.
@moxymagic6 жыл бұрын
Fantastic, this place is about 2 hours away from us so it's now on our list. Do they allow tents too or just caravans ?
@TheTrudgians6 жыл бұрын
Its just caravans, trailer tents, and motorhomes. But there is a glamping area as well.
@Antsmithmk6 жыл бұрын
Only problem with this place is all the add ons. It's already expensive and then there are little costs associated with all the other activities which can add up to an expensive break.
