I feel like a lot of YT reactors get the love confession by Mark VERY wrong. It's not like he's asking her to leave her husband for him, he's simply coming clean by confession that he was in love with her, making her understand that it was the reason he kept distant from her, not because he disliked her, but because in his way he was trying to respect her and her husbands relationship. And also, that was his way of "moving on" as well. Juliet understood what he meant. Mark would no longer feel wierd in their presence nor would he keep a distance from them again. He literally said "enough" to himself afterwards. He was gonna act like a normal friend in the future, focusing on finding love somewhere else, which he did in the end. Sure, Juliet kissing Mark might've been inappropriate, but I think she was simply flattered by his confession and the kiss was simply an acknowledgement that she appreciates that he came out clean for her. She was afraid that Mark didn't like her, and now she's happy to know that he does in fact like her and that he finally wants to be a friend to her. That's how I see it anyway.

Yes, definitely! You had to watch Galaxy Quest! Love Alan, and it always made me feel bad when interviewers constantly talked about him playing the bad guys. Yes, he did played them great but he had a great sense and timing for comedy like here and Galaxy Quest as well as drama - Snowcake and romance - Sense and Sensibility, just to mention a few... He was such an great and versatile actor with an amazing voice and delivery.

The meetings in the airport were real. They had hidden cameras all over the airport. And when they captured a moment they liked. They went to those people and asked if they wanted to be in a movie. The ones that said "yes" were the people in the beginning. Kinda cool.......

Olivia Olson, who played Joanna, did all her own singing. In fact, Richard Curtis had her voice edited to make it sound more childlike. Other than this, her biggest credit is probably playing Marceline on Adventure Time, and it's spin-offs

Wow, this was a wonderful surprise(!), seeing you back and with this gift of a vid. Thank you for that. The writer (and director) of this little gem, Richard Curtis, just so happens to make a lot of rom-flicks with, as you described, little windows into many peoples lives, so with that, I would absolutely love if you did some reaction vids to more his films... Four Weddings & A Funeral, Notting Hill, About Time. Bridget Jones's Diary. Oh, by the way, he and Rowan Atkinson created and wrote Mr Bean, so that's not too shabby a credit.

Martin Freeman's character is a "stand in". It's so camera and lighting can use someone about the same size and skin tone as the talent to set up the shot, so the talent doesn't have to, and can have a break.

I like the way he just appears from nowhere when first scene. In the deleted scenes, Liam Neeson's son was dropped from the school acrobatic team but used his skills on the bars to swing down to the airport gate away from the guards. Check out the 20th anniversary reunion clips - so cute!

I am recovering from a surgical Operation, and i can do not that much in the moment. i have seen a lot of your reactions in the past few weeks, and i only want to let you know: I admire the way you dive into it, let your feelings flow and show us the way a movie should be watched. Your Clips helped me a lot through the last time, and i only want you to know: Go on, girl! It is nice to see, that someone else is shedding tears at the same moments i ave a long time ago. It seems i can feel your emotions through the screen, and you almost give me the feeling to watch that movie again for the first time.

15:11 Yeah the concept of "the one" is just something we've made up to help us cope with the fact that the relationship we have with a partner is just one made up from time and experiences. People find it uncomfortable to think about how there are many many people in the world who you could fall in love with, given the right timing and situation, which makes it seem less 'special'. So we pretend that's not the case to make ourselves feel better. A great example in my life is that I'm expecting a second daughter any day now, and I can't imagine how I could love another, different child like I love my first daughter. But I know that this time next year I won't be able to remember how I didn't. Loving someone isn't a special one time thing, but the person and the relationship you have with them is special and unique.

You know, on your concept that there is not just one “soul mate” for each of us, I agree. In an old French film that I saw (''Western'' 1997, I think...), one hitchhiker guy says to his down-on-his-luck friend: ''You know, i bet that in the next village we cross, there is at least one person, just one, that is perfect for you. It's realistic, right? Not two. Not three. Just one. Take the city of Paris. There must surely be one person, just one, perfect for you among the millions. Well, there are thousands of villages and towns in the world. If we agree that there is at least one person perfect for you in each of them, that's thousands of soul mates on Earth. It's encouraging, isn't it?'' Of course, you have to find them but that's for another movie...

Love this movie, and these types of movies. Nice to see you again! When you have been doing reactions, it's usually stuff I'm not particularly in to, but it's nothing against you. So, not sure how much you picked up on in your time in the UK, but Sir Richard Curtis is a pretty legendary British comedy writer that among other things, wrote the TV shows "Black Adder" and "Mr. Bean" with Rowan Atkinson, who you obviously saw in the movie. This movie was the first time when he started to also direct his own stuff. I recommend "About Time" and "Pirate Radio"(US title/"The Boat That Rocked"(UK title), of his also.

Really loving your video reactions, still catching up on your back content. Ultimately you shouldn't worry about views, watch what you love and like minded subscribers will eventually find you. Also you actually have an opinion, unlike many similar channels, and quite a perceptive one at that - don’t lose that. Others have mentioned Richard Curtis movies and I agree. Another important romcom is My Best Friend’s Wedding (Julia Roberts) which is good throughout but which the director made just to get to shoot the barge scene.

What you said about soul mates resonated with me. I too don't really believe in 'the one' - that there's only that one person you were meant to be with. You meet someone, you have a connection and then you build from that and make it work if it's worth making it work. I do feel that 'making it work' is what is lacking in most relationships these days. Of course, there's a balance... or a limit, I should say. For the love of all that is good, don't stay with someone who is making you miserable. I only mean that a problem with people now is that they are too quick to hit a roadblock in a relationship and call it impassable. Too quick to say 'Oh well, it was good while it lasted, but it's time to jump out of the 'car' and say our goodbyes.'... Is this metaphor about being in a car working? Or is my awkward Englishman showing? I've never felt more like Hugh Grant's Prime Minister role... ... erm... anyway, that's how I feel about it. My parents have been together for 43 years and I've witnessed several moments where they could have taken the easy route and said, 'Oh forget this, it's too hard. Let's go our separate ways.' Maybe they always felt it was worth getting passed the roadblocks. They are a wonderful couple and I feel blessed to have them as my parents for many reasons. Not least of all, because they figured things out together and worked through even the hardest of times. Maybe it's because we get things too easily these days... I really don't know for sure.

I've not seen you before but I like you and your reaction to one of my favourite films. And I love your hair. Agree with you about how beautiful Keira Knightly looked. Luminous. Martine McCutchen (Natalie) has always been an underrated actress in my opinion. The way Richard Curtis interweaved the stories was genius. By the way, Martin Freeman and Joanna Paige were standing in for the real actors on a film shoot, so that the lighting and sound guys could get their bits and pieces set up, prior to the real sex scenes. That's why they were able to chat.
