It's too bad they don't make movies like that anymore... that's real romance, ladies & gentlemen! And, as far as the age is concerned... it doesn't matter! Love is love and when you find it and if it is good... age doesn't matter at all! I miss both of these wonderful actors... I wish we had more like them today! Thanks for posting this wonderful clip from a fantastic movie.

Words cannot begin to describe how much I love this scene. When he holds her and presses his face against hers and the skin on his cheek pushes up against hers, I can't help but sob uncontrollably. :) It's a shame they can't make movies like this anymore.

Saw this when it was new at the local drive-in in 1957. I just checked and our local library doesn't have it. Guess I'll have to break down and buy it on dvd. Sure do love most everything with Audrey in it. Big thumbs up !!

Every time I watch this scene, my eyes begin to well up in tears because I feel sorry for her-because of her vulnerability and pure sweetness comes right to the surface and breaks my heart. I love this movie.

What can I say about Audrey? I have my own idea..about her. She was an angel, send by God, to the earth..for sometime..to give us the beauty of her soul. If you don,t believe me..please..look at her eyes, and give a glimpse to the work she did in UNICEF. Carlos from Argentina.

What a scene! All her attempts for a stiff upper lip. The fact he sees right through it, too. Even after he scoops her up onto the train and is kissing her face, she still calls him Mr. Flanagan. Lol?
Wow, they don't make movies like they used to anymore!

Re: NycBeauty. Mine too. Unfortunately this youtube version has cut Maurice Chevalier's lines at the station, how the ecclesiastical court has granted Mr. Flanagan an annulment and the couple are living happily in New York as husband and wife. It is the most sentimental ending alltime. agreed.

Writing uses translation software. That would be syntactically incorrect place please forgive me. France Paris to Audrey-Hepburn and Gary-Cooper and Maurice-Chevalier old nostalgic scent of the old dreams of love and romance, Gypsy violin sounds good ~. This is the last scene of the movie. Train to train teachers of parting of the two men on the platform. Held in Playboy as an innocent girl played by Hepburn's tears, Cooper also struck me that at last, ran out of the passenger-car and ride. I thought the scene father daughter that Chevalier as a happy and warm off the great happy endings.

Gee, again I'm wondering why Billy Wilder could not have secured Cary Grant for the role of Mr. Flannagan? I mean Gary Cooper was just too old for the part. Even he admitted as much after the fact. By the time Mr. Grant finally appeared onscreen with Miss Hepburn, his relative youth had completely faded and she was on the cusp of being a mature woman.
