Hi Ms. Paula! I do use both the Cream of Celery and Cream of Potato Soups but I also will dice up some potatoes and celery as well for additional texture. I will serve it with croutons, cornbread, oyster crackers or toasted garlic bread. Makes a wonderful Lunch on a cold 🥶 Day or Supper. I never thought about hot sauce! Make a real crab stew. Stores sell crab legs that you can use for making real crab stock. Also if picking real whole crabs just throw in their shells and legs and that would make a delicious REAL crab stock. You can freeze the stock in a freeze bag for later use too. It is a shame to use expensive crabmeat and then use open 2 cans of Campbell's soup. Paula can do better than this. The same when you peel boiled shrimp use those shells to make real homemade shrimp stock that you can freeze for later use.

I would take the easy way out. Working Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm, doesn't allow much time during the week because if I'm not at work or home, I'm at my daughters spoiling my new granddaughter. I do love to cook when cooking for a crowd and enjoying doing things I don't normally do.

Here in Maryland, that is called cream of crab soup, with Old Bay on top. In NC, they call it She crab soup.

Delicious and super easy using the cans of soup. Sherry is the best add on either in clam cowder, mushroom soup and 🦀. Great idea! Just do not invite anyone over who doesnt like crabbing or crabs period!

Nope nothing. She could have easily made a real crab stock by simply buying some crab legs at her supermarket and using them. Heck with the numerous crabs Michael catches she should have bags of frozen of homemade crab stock (made with the crab carcasses in her freezer to use when she is making a dish like this. To make this stew it would have been great with half and half or real cream, real crab stock, old bay, sauteed onions and celery etc.

Old Bay is a seasoning. It’s found in most grocery stores or Amazon. It’s really good.

Gee a "5 minute crab stew" with 2 cans of Campbell soup to serve her special guests. And she mentioned they also had her spaghetti casserole that she browned grounded meat and then poured a jar tomato sauce over it. Then topped it with cheese and baked it. That was it. I would be embarrassed to serve these two dishes to special guests. No effort or care at all in either dish and the table was not even set. I noticed when the Helping Hero's group set down for their big meal the table was not set either for their special meal that they cooked for many hours.
