These biscuits look amazing Rebekah, the sweet potato gives a wonderful texture where they melt in your mouth!🤤 I have cinnamon syrup and I think it would be incredible poured over them!😘 We southern women have the best recipes! What a great video! Rebekah makes you feel like a long lost friend and someone you'd love to be cooking in the kitchen with....always feels like we're sitting right at the bar watching them cook..only downside is we can't taste those biscuits!!! ❤❤

I grew up in SE Atlanta where my mom would make these "southern" biscuits. I found it surprising how many people had never heard of them given the fact that they had grown up in the south too as my family did. I currently live in a senior citizen community and even more surprisingly almost all of my neighbors had never heard of them either. I have now introduced them to these biscuits as well as hot water cornbread and lacy cornbread.

I wish you would of giving the measurements for the ingredients. When BAKING you have to be exact. Not knowing how much baking powder salt ect. Doesn’t allow me to try at home. Or put them in the description.
