I understand that sentiment! Since 1979, there have been only 5 bands for me , Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dream theater, Jinjer and finally Lovebites!! Everything else I had no interest!

Japan is producing the best Metal in the 21st century. Back when I started going to Metal gigs (in 1976, when I saw Black Sabbath) there was a wealth of great Metal bands from the UK - Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Saxon, Uriah Heep, etc. There were lots of Hard Rock greats too from the UK and (being a Boomer!) I was lucky enough to see a lot of them live - Zeppelin, The Who, Queen, Thin Lizzy, Bowie and many others. Now the likes of Lovebites, Nemophila, Babymetal and Hanabie are giving us the best Metal on Earth and Band-Maid are the Queens of Rock for this century. Long may they all reign!

A couple of bits of info about this concert from 2021. It was performed under strict Covid regulations, audience limited to 50% capacity with mandatory masks and no shouting or cheering. This is part of the reason the band members are not moving around the stage as much as they would normally. Miyako, the guitarist with long black hair, was several months pregnant. She was on stage without a break for the entire near two hour long concert. She gave birth to a baby daughter later that year 🤗🐺
