This girl has the best attitude ever lol I can't even count how many times a customer made a rude Crack like that when I was decorating cakes. They may have meant it as a joke but still a rude thing to say, and people think they can say stuff like that to you especially if you're young. They always assume you don't know how to do your job properly no matter how many years you've been doing it.

Omgosh!!!! Preeeeeach! I've been looked down on several times due to me being 36 y/o and a private caregiver. People assumed that I being the age I am, that I'm completely clueless as to how to perform duties or whether I can do anything at all. I think it depends on how it was asked. She might have just been paraphrasing. Sometimes I am willing to take a chance with a special cake, sometimes not. I would much rather have someone be honest with me if they can’t do what I want. It doesn’t mean I will never go to that bakery again. I just know not to go to you for certain things. But, if you lie to me and then F*** up my order I will never order from you again and I will bad talk you to everyone.

Some people are just really socially awkward and don't know how it interact in a "normal" way. Things like Autism, Asbergers and even social anxiety cause people to say things that they may not even realise is rude. They might even have money troubles, and need to be very cautious over their spending but want to treat a family member with a beautiful cake for their birthday.. Seems a but cut throat and unnecessary to refuse someone over a minor comment, especially when you don't know their circumstances. Frankly, if that comment upsets you that much, you probably need to reflect on why it upset you so much. I know it would upset me, but there is no way in hell I'd refuse service over it.

How is it rude to ask someone who specializes in something, if they have a skill to create a piece in a different field/skill that maybe partially overlaps with your expertise? Imagine you have a painter that specializes in human portraits, you would ask them if they know how to paint animals since you want your kid with a family dog.. if not, you find someone else, it's very much more rude to say yes you know how to do it and then deliver something subpar and looking nothing like what the paying customer wanted...

Granted sometimes I suppose there is a possibility of coming across someone who “doesn’t know what they’re doing” but it’s highly unlikely. Now if he walked into her home and saw her in her kitchen trying to make something that’s a llllllliiiitttttttllleee different lol. But he most likely called up her store or walked into her store like sir, just let her do her thing. Edit: Okay so I think she works at this shop and it isn’t hers; either way she’s qualified enough IMO and her boss thinks so too otherwise she wouldn’t have gotten the job.
