Love Dorsey: Single Mothers the HERO and the VILLAIN

Single mothers, are complex and multifaceted, capable of embodying both positive and challenging qualities. Today we will discuss the much needed perspective on how single mothers can be perceived as heroes and villains:
HERO:
Resilience and Determination: Single mothers often exhibit extraordinary resilience, facing and overcoming various challenges, including financial struggles, emotional stress, and societal stigma. Their determination to provide a stable and loving environment for their children can be seen as heroic.
Nurturing and Supportive: Many single mothers prioritize the well-being and development of their children, offering love, guidance, and emotional support. Their ability to create a nurturing environment reflects their heroism in the eyes of their children.
Role Modeling Independence: Single mothers who demonstrate independence, self-reliance, and a strong work ethic can serve as positive role models for their children, teaching them valuable life skills and the importance of perseverance.
VILLAIN (potential misconceptions):
Absentee Parenting: In some cases, single mothers might be perceived as villains if there are instances of absentee parenting, where they struggle to balance personal responsibilities with their children's needs. However, it's essential to consider external factors that may contribute to such challenges.
Financial Struggles and Stress: Financial difficulties may lead to stress, impacting a single mother's emotional well-being and potentially affecting the parent-child relationship. Society might unfairly cast blame on single mothers for financial struggles without considering broader systemic issues.
Stereotypes and Stigma: Single mothers may face societal stereotypes and stigma, which can be perceived as villainous when they are unfairly judged or discriminated against based on their family structure. This can affect their mental health and ability to provide for their children.
It's crucial to approach the topic with empathy and avoid making sweeping judgments. Single mothers, like anyone else, are individuals with their own unique circumstances, strengths, and weaknesses. Understanding and support from the community, as well as addressing systemic challenges, can contribute to fostering positive outcomes for single mothers and their families.

As a Black American wife who has been with same Black American man/husband for 25 years I want to make it clear that I’m down with being under my husband’s program because of who his is as a man and not because of the money that he could use to “buy” my femininity and cooperation. I submit to him and not “his” money. It’s his manhood, mindset, maturity, masculinity, discipline, and the fact that he says what he means and means what he says. That’s why I respect and revere him. None of those things have anything to do with his money. If a woman can’t respect you for who you are then she’ll never respect you for your money.

Women are often so concerned about fidelity. And THIS mindset and feeling of our woman being down for us like this, so in line with us for the success of US, is the #1 way to put blunders on your man to other women. Yes we focus on intamcy with us as being so important, it surely is, but with this mindset, the intimacy and bedroom fun flows in this environment. So that's taken care of.

She broke down a man’s attraction to qualities he saw in his mother spot on. There are men that like the idea of a truly feminine woman (behind her appearance) but don’t have the capacity for her, or she might be boring to him. There has not been one man I’ve dealt with yet that when he described the women in his past it didn’t involve them arguing all the time, she talking to him crazy, and some even putting hands on him and he stayed for a long period of time. You don’t go from that (without getting therapy) and immediately know how to be with a women who not with the chaos. It’s like they desire it mentally but don’t actually have the capacity to choose, pursue, and feel comfortable with a woman really in her feminine.

This is A1. I grew up with two divorced parents and my father worked a job that kept him away for long periods of time. I don't know how that effected me but. I've made irreversible mistakes horrible irreversible mistakes and self-discipline would've given me parameters that I would've at least thought of in heated moments. I drew from nothing because I was nothing. A man without discipline is nothing.

I haven't watched this yet. I'm not a single mother. My father is my best friend. Im definitely a daddies girl. I actually would rather never give a man a child. Never ever love a man than to have the possibility of being a single mother. Men have no real responsibility but they are praised for doing the bare minimum. Just because alot of people cheat doesn't make it normal or natural either but society tries to normalize it. Men try to normalize things that harm women. I feel so sorry for women who yearn for motherhood by any means neccessary it must be a horrible sick life to live. Especially once you finally get that child you yearned for and wish you never did it. Now you just have to deal with what you done but even in doing that you are told you raise horrible people it's like we'll why have kids at all? Why love men at all? You can find a man good on paper but he can still leave you high and dry and treat you horribly.

@Bereal-yd5gh
@Bereal-yd5gh 3 ай бұрын
@T-H-E-WORLD I live in reality. I know all men are not the same but I also know risking my life for men hoping they are good is not worth whatever the reward may be. I don't have to allow men all in my life like that to enjoy them for the things I actually want from them. My father is the one who taught me to be better than weak women and make the right choices. He also knows who holds the real responsibility when it comes to raising children. That's why he is an active and present father. If a man reads that and does not understand what was said. You are living in a delusional place and have no empathy for what men are really doing to women and getting away with while women are made villians. If yall keep it up women will stop having your children and stop loving you all together.
@Bereal-yd5gh
@Bereal-yd5gh 3 ай бұрын
My father taught me to not be weak like other women. He understands what men put women through at alarming rates. He is not in denial and he understands the more you shame women and make them villians for having children. They will opt out of men all together. I know that all men are not the same but the risk is never worth the reward for women since women are villians either way. If you don't understand what was said here you are living in a state of delusion. The more you try to shame women and place blame, the more women will just opt out. That's why birth rates are low now. Children have always been optional and 100% avoidable

Love Dorsey is on it. I had my basics since 19 years old as a man. Because I'm strong on nature. I believe a man should have the necessary tools and territory to be able to take care of a family. 10 years you're a veteran over 20 years you're a legend. Brothers handle your business as men. My son is 17 as well I told him focus on his business 1st. Been working for a year, a car and a bank account. I again said handle your business always. Women are a priority but not your first.

Valid points were made along with some nonsense. Pray for discernment. It is very easy to blame single mothers for the behavior of the son and have NO comment for the father that is not there. I absolutely agree that children need BOTH mother and father to be well balanced emotionally healthy kids. But if a child is growing up with a single mother, you can't only have criticism for her, you have to address the father as well

If your son doesn’t have a working phone how are you teaching him responsibilities when in an emergency like if you were hurt or have a heart attack he can’t call out? That is not being helpful. Why did he bring that up? That’s an embarrassment to the father and breach of family safety and security.
